Chapter 42 -Sounds Perfect-

(Cheryl's POV)

--The Next Day--

My eyes slowly fluttered open as I felt the presence of someone watching me. My eyes were suddenly glued to the brown orbs in front of me. She had a bright smile on her face, and she gently stroked my hair. "Good morning, beautiful," Toni pressed her lips against mine.

"Good morning, Tee-Tee," I answered with a smile on my face.

"How'd you sleep, babe?" she asked, moving her hands from my hair to my shoulders. I shivered at the feeling.

"Very good," I smirked. I laid my head on her chest and slowly traced her serpent tattoo on her lower stomach just past her abs. I connected our lips again as I rolled on top of her, feeling our naked bodies press together. She slipped her tongue into my mouth as she moved her hands to my ass and squeezed it lightly. A moan escaped my mouth. She smirked against my lips before she used her other hand to caress my boob. Toni bit my lip and then trailed her kisses down to my neck and bit it slowly and sucking on my pulse.

Just as we were about to continue, our doorbell rang. We both groaned as we pulled away from our kiss. I rolled off of Toni. "I'll go get it. You stay here," Toni said, kissing me once more before getting up and grabbing her pink silk robe, and walking out of our room. I groaned in frustration and laid back down on the bed.

(Toni's POV)

Whoever this is, better have a good reason why they interrupted Cheryl and I.

I walked downstairs and opened the front door to reveal a tall redhead and raven-haired girl. I rolled my eyes. "What do you two want?"

"Damn did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed," Archie laughed.

"No, she woke up on top of Cheryl," Veronica smirked.

"VERONICA!" both Archie and I yelled.

"What? It's true," she laughed.

"So, what are you two doing here so early?" I asked them as they sat down at the kitchen table.

"For one, it's twelve in the afternoon. Two, we thought we could help plan that surprise for Cheryl," Veronica mentioned.

"Actually, yeah, we could do that," I agreed. "But how do I do it without Cheryl here?" I asked.

"That's why I'm here," Archie started. "I'm going to take Cheryl up to Centerville to go visit our Nana," he stated.

"And me, you and Betty can plan it," Veronica said. I nodded.

"I need to go get the ring out of the car before you take it," I told them as I walked outside and to our car. I went into the glove box and grabbed the red velvet box, and brought it inside.

"Well, I need to get ready, and I'll go tell Cheryl," I told them as they walked to the lounge room. I made my way back up to my bedroom.

I walked into our bedroom to see Cheryl passed out again. I smiled at the redhead. I made my way to my underwear drawer and buried the box deep underneath. I walked back over to Cheryl, "Baby, Archie, and Ronnie are here," I whispered as she slowly woke up. "Arch wants to take you to see your Nana," I told her.

"Ok-kay, are you going to come?" she murmured.

"I'm going out for lunch with V," I lied. Cheryl nodded. "Come on, we can take a quick shower together," I lifted her up bridal style, earning a little giggle coming from her. I walked over to our bathroom and sat her down on the counter. I turned on the water and took off my robe. Cheryl yawned and rubbed her eyes. I helped her walk into the shower.
