Chapter 19 -What are you doing here?-

(Cheryl's POV)

I let Toni go through the door first. I found the light switch and turned it on. I turned around as I heard, "SURPRISE!!!" I jumped a bit. I was confused on what was happening. But then started to regain focus. Did they throw a surprise party for me? A smile crept onto my face. Toni moved closer to me.

"Did you do this for me?" I asked her.

"With a lot of help from Veronica. Yes," she smiled.

"Thank you," I hugged her and gave her a kiss. I felt her smile under my lips. I turned back to the rest of the people. Veronica, Betty, Archie, Jughead, Kevin, Fangs and Sweet Pea were all here.

Veronica made her way over to me, "Happy Birthday Cher," She hugged me.

"Happy Birthday sis," Archie came and kissed my cheek. He moved over next to Veronica.

Jughead and Betty walked up to me, "Happy Birthday," they both said giving me a hug each.

"REDDD, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" I turned around to see Sweet Pea running at me and throwing his hands around my waist and picking me up. Over a couple of months me and Sweet Pea have made this brother and sister bond.

"Happy B-Day," Fangs gave me a hug and Kevin came over.

"Happy Birthday Cheryl," He smiled and gave me a hug.

"LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" Veronica shouted turning the music up. Archie grabbed Veronica's hand and met Betty and Jughead on dance in the middle of the room. I scanned the room trying to find Toni. I met her eyes near the drinks. She was leaning against the table. Seeing that she already had a drink in her hand. She's going to get drunk and I won't be able to handle that.

I walked over to her. Toni grabbed another drink. Is she okay? I've never seen her like this. "Hey, babe. I've been looking for you," I tried smiling.

She smiled back at me and passed me one of the drinks. She grabbed my waist and pulled me close. I was now in between her legs, "Hi," she said kissing my lips.

"Babe, don't drink too much. I don't need to getting drunk and doing something stupid," I said to her.

"This is my first drink. Once other people start coming. I'll stop," Other people?

"What do you mean other people?"

"Yeah. Veronica invited a bunch of people I don't really know. But she said you know them so that's fine," she took one last sip of her drink and put her cup back down. I nodded at her.

"Come on let's go and dance," I put my drink down and dragged her by the hand to the middle of the room finding the rest of the gang.

At about 6:00 PM everyone started coming. I knew most of the people but it looked like Toni didn't. She luckily kept her promise and didn't drink when people started to come.

(Toni's POV)

I don't know why but I felt like tonight I had to just drink my feelings away. I know that the present I got for Cheryl that I'm going to give to her after the party WILL change things. I just know. I've been with Cheryl for about 5 and a half months now and I really don't want to lose her. I've been sitting down at a table with Sweet Pea when I got tugged on the hand. I turned and saw Veronica.

"I need to talk to you. Right now," she said seriously. I got up as she led me to the back of the room. "What the fuck is your problem?"

"What do you mean?"

"All night it looks like you have a stick up your ass. Plus your fucking drinking your head off," she practically yelled at me.

"Do you know what I got for Cheryl for her birthday?" I yelled back.

"No," she calmed down. I whispered in her ear.

"It can change everything, I'm scared that she's going to run off or laugh. Or worse just break up with me," I sobbed. She didn't say anything she just hugged me so tight.

"She will love it and I'm 100% she feels the same way. She loves you and she won't break up with you," she smiled.

"Come on. This is my favourite song," I heard as Cheryl ran and grabbed my hand.

We danced and talked for 2 hours. "Alright everyone gather around. Cake time," we heard Archie yell. We walked over to the back of the room where the table was. There was the cake that I picked out for her hoping she liked it. It was a red velvet cake. With "Happy 18th Birthday Cheryl" Written in light red icing. I walked over to the cake and put the sparkles in it and lit it. Cheryl walked behind the cake and face all of us.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR CHERYL. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU," we all yelled as Cheryl blew out the candles.

Cheryl smiled at all of us, "I would like to say a big thank you to my best friend Veronica, my brother Archie, my cousin Betty, Jughead and the specialise of them all my wonderful girlfriend Toni for putting this whole party together without me even knowing," she said laughing. "LET'S CONTINUE THIS PARTY," Cheryl yelled and laughed. Everyone went back to where they were before as Cheryl grabbed me and kissed me passionately.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"For being the best girlfriend ever," I blushed. "And for throwing me this party," she smiled.

"Anything to make you smile," I smiled as she blushed back. "Come on," I took her to the dance floor. All of a sudden someone walked into the door. I didn't know who she was Veronica was standing behind me. We all turned around to see who it was. I saw Cheryl leave my side to meet this person.

"Heather, what are you doing here?," I heard Cheryl say. I saw them both hug.

"Who is that?" I asked Veronica.

"That's Heather," she paused. "Cheryl's ex-girlfriend," I froze. Exe?

Hey, Guys, it's me I hoped you liked this. But if you did like it please like it and vote for it and I will keep posting more of this. Left it on a cliffhanger. So yeah Cheryl's ex-girlfriend turned up at her party. Is Toni going to be jealous? What is Toni's present? Do you think that Heather might change the reaction of the present?
