Chapter 26

You were like coming up for fresh air. It's like I was drowning and you saved me.

Arizona's POV

I opened my eyes wincing a little at the brightness from the sun as it shone through the window, cursing a little at the fact we forgot to close the curtains last night. I reached for my phone and cursed again as I saw the time. I don't  need to be up for another 40mins but there is no point in going back to sleep. It will only make it harder to wake up again.  I rolled over and saw Callie still sleeping, the sheet only covering her bottom half, leaving her back exposed. I couldn't help but smile as I looked at her back seeing all the slightly red scratch mark I made last night. I would feel bad for doing them but I know I have scratch marks on my back too, so I don't.  

I laid there just staring  at her as memories from last night played over and over in my head. I gently grazed my fingers up and down her back as I admired her beauty.

"morning" she said sleepily. I hadn't even notice that she had woken up, I was to engrossed in the memories from last night.

"morning" I smiled. She rolled on to her side exposing her boobs which had a few love birds on them, I couldn't help but smile.

"last night was incredible" I said as I lean forward and give her a little kiss.

"out of this world" she said smiling.

"I love you" I smile. She lifted her free hand up to my face and tucked a piece of loose hair behind my ear.

"I love you too" she smiled. By Callies little laugh I could tell my face must have been a picture..mouth hanging open, eyes wide with shock.

"w.what" I said when I finally managed to speak.

"I love you Arizona Robbins" she giggled before leaning in and kissing me. It took me a few seconds to let what she said sink it. Callie loves me. I suddenly became so happy, like a kid on Christmas morning. I lifted the bed sheet up and pushed Callie on her back before straddling her, kissing her instantly. 

"someone is happy" she chuckled between kisses.

"the happiest" I said grinning, sitting up.

"God your are so beautiful" she said as she stares at me while trailing her hand up and down my bare abs, slowly getting lower.

"stop" I giggled.

"as much as I would love a repeat of last night I need to get ready for work"

"urgh fine" Callie sighed dramatically, making us both laugh. I leant down and  gave her a kiss before getting off her and climbing out of bed. 

"I'm getting a shower" I said as I walked to the bathroom door. I turned on the light then turned on the shower. I looked in the mirror and could see 2 love bits on my neck, one on each boob and  faint scratches on my back and lower abs. Luckily the ones on my neck aren't to dark so foundation should cover them up. I checked the shower was hot enough before walking to the doorway of the bathroom.

"fancy joining me" I asked Callie as she was scrolling through her phone. She chucked her phone somewhere on the bed at my words.

"thought you'd never ask" she grins jumping out of bed, practically running to me. 

After the nice romantic shower, which didn't involve sex...unfortunately,  as we was both tired from last night,  we both got changed, Callie wore her ripped jeans and a top while I got changed into my uniform. As much as I am glad to be back at work, I hate not working with Callie, I miss her. I'm just glad she is coming back in a couple of days. Callie sorted the bed out as it was a bit of a mess, while I went downstairs and started to make some breakfast and coffee.

"here" I said handed Callie a cup of coffee as she enters the kitchen a short time later.

"thanks" She took the coffee and sat at the table. I plated up some scrambled egg and toast before joining Callie at the table.

"looks yummy" she smiles.

"you are welcome" We sat in silence for a few minutes while we ate until Callie spoke a few moments later.

"where did you go last night anyway, you were gone ages" she asks.

"oh erm, I walked, sorta... erm..kinda ended up at Carina's" Her face dropped. I could tell what was going through her head

"nothing like that" I quickly said trying to reassure her.

"I just walked, didn't realise I was heading there until I was there. I confronted her, well sort of" I say taking a bite of toast.

"sort of" she asked.

"I may or may not have slap her and told her to never come near us again" I said. Callie suddenly spat a bit of her coffee out. Shock clearly evident on her face.

"you slapped her"  

"I was angry and hurt, I mean she did try to kiss you" I reminded her.

"I just never thought you'd have it in you" she chuckled.

"Well you do surprising stuff when you're in love" I said standing up, picking up my plate and mug and putting it in the dishwasher. 

"I best get going, I'll be back about 3" I said leaning in giving Callie a kiss on the lips.

"okay" she replies. I walked out the kitchen and grabbed the rest of my things and got in  my car and set of for work. Luckily it's only a half day because I'm so tired after last night, but it was defiantly worth it.
