Chapter 38

Arizona's POV

The night has been such a success, everyone was enjoying themselves. But most importantly Callie was, and that's all that I cared about. I haven't seen her this happy for months and it warmed my heart.  It was about midnight when everyone started to leave. April and Lexi were the last to go at about 1230pm. I was a little tipsy but I only had 3 alcoholic drinks as I wanted to be able to keep an eye on Callie.

"Thank you for tonight" Callie said after April and Lexi left.

"My pleasure" I smiled as I started to tidy up a little.

"Lets tidy up tomorrow" Callie said as she walked up to me, grinning.

"yeah okay, I am little tired" I chuckle as I placed the empty glasses back on the table.

"Oh, well thats a shame....because... I'm wide awake" she said as she grabbed the top of my top, pulling me towards her and connecting our lips. 

"I..suddenly...don't feel...that tired" I replied through kisses. I Instantly deepened the kiss, putting my arms around her neck and pulling her closer. It didn't take long before things got a little rougher. She pushed me against the wall, pinning my arms just above my head. She then started kissing my neck, making me moan when she hit my soft spot. Suddenly she pulled away and took my hand into hers and lead me upstairs to her bedroom. As soon as we reached the bed she pushed me on it so I was laying on my back, she the straddled me and connected our lips, instantly inserting her tongue.

"Callie are you sure about this" I ask as I push Callie back abit, stopping the kiss. 

"I've been wanting this for the past  few weeks, but if it's too soon for you I understand" she said as she started to climb off me. I instantly grabbed her arm and pulled her down and kissed her. She kissed back straight away and within seconds it got heated as my hands started roaming her back. 

"off" I said pulling at her jumpsuit.  A few seconds later she stood up and made sure I was looking at her before she slowly and teasingly took her jumpsuit of leaving her in some really, really sexy black lingerie. She turned around and bend down, picking up her jumpsuit and placing it on the chair, giving me a good view of her bum. I could feel myself getting wet, she was doing this on purpose. She then came back onto the bed and unbuttoned my jeans. I lifted my bum and she pulled them off, chucking them on the floor. She opened my legs and crawled in-between them before leaning in and kissing me. She slowly started to lift my top up and within seconds it was on the floor too. She kissed me roughly as she started moving her hips between my legs making me moan

A while later.....

"fuck" I breath as  I laid next to Callie, who hummed in response.

"I love you" Callie said after a few seconds. I looked at her, feeling a little shocked. I know she loves me but it's been ages since she said it, it feels like the first time.

"I love you" I smiled, leaning in and connecting our lips. She laid her head on my chest and we stayed like that for a while until I started to hear faint snores, which told me Callie had fallen asleep. I smiled to myself as I gave Callie a little kiss on her head, I love this women with every fibre of my being and I never want to be without her again. I closed my eyes and let the tiredness take over.

2 weeks later.....

Today is mine and Callie's first football match since before the accident and I can't wait. I've missed playing, training is great but nothing beats the feeling you get when you play an actual match. 

"Callie I've made breakfast" I shouted upstairs. I walked back into the kitchen and sat at the table and started eating. A few moments later Callie walked in and I could tell straight away by the look on her face that she wasn't okay.

"what's wrong"  I ask as she sat down.

"They just called, a date for the trial as been set" she said looking at her plate. 

"when is it" I ask

"4 weeks tomorrow" she replied as she started to pick at her eggs.

"hey" I said reaching for her hand which caused her to look up at me.

"you've got this" I smile.

"and I am going to be here every step of the way"  I smile, she gave me a little smile back and squeezed my hand.

"don't let it ruin your day okay, you've been so excited about today for the past week, now eat up, I can't wait much longer to see you in them shorts... I mean damn that arse" I said biting my lip which caused Callie to laugh. We finish our breakfast and grabbed our bags before getting in the car. It's an away game today but luckily it isn't to far  so about 30 minutes later we arrived at the ground. Surprisingly we were one of the first there but it didn't take long for the others to arrive.

"how we feeling ladies" Karev said as walked up to us. There was a murmur of cheerful responses as everyone put there boots on. Once everyone was ready we went for our warm up run. I couldn't stop smiling, it was making me so happy and the game hadn't even started yet. I kept looking at Callie and she was smiling too which made it better. I hope she can put the court date out of her head just for a couple hours so she can fully enjoy the game because playing makes her so happy and she deserves to be happy.

So sorry for not updating in so long I've been away with my girlfriend for my birthday last week...so so sorry. I think this story is coming to an end soon though maybe a couple more chapters... Thank you all for reading Hope this chapter is okay, feedback is always welcome.
