Chapter 36

Callie's POV

It's been nearly 2 months since I found out I was raped. It still doesn't seem real. You never think something like this could happen to you and when it does it's...well...I have no words to describe how it makes you feel.  A part of me is glad I don't remember it but it doesn't stop me feeling violated and disgusting, knowing that someone took advantage of me.

They arrested Penny and she is in prison on remand, she pleaded not guilty which now means there will be a trial, so me and Jo have to relive it all. It's like she wants to make it more painful then it already is. Me and Jo have become good friends, she's really helping me with all this, to be honest I think we are helping each other. I just want this to be over.

Arizona has been amazing, she's always with me, always making sure I'm okay. It's making me fall in love with her even more. It's just hard not being together its all I want but I have to respect what Arizona wants, I'm just glad that we are okay and that she is back home.

Today is my birthday and I'm not really in the mood to celebrate but Arizona pursued me to let her throw me a little party at ours tonight.

"Happy Birthday" Arizona smiled as she walked into my room with a tray of food.

"Breakfast in bed for the birthday girl" she said as she placed the tray on the bed and sat down.

"Thank you" I smiled as I took the coffee and had a sip. It was then that I saw a envelope with my name on it. I recognised the hand writing. I smiled as I picked it up and opened it.

Happy Birthday Calliope.

I hope you have a great day.

 I'm  going to make it so special for you because you deserve it and so much more.

I just have one question to ask you....

I got a bit confused as there was no question written in the card so I looked up to ask Arizona and my jaw dropped. She was sat there, holding up a piece of paper that said...

CALLIOPE TORRES...
WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND...
AGAIN :)

I couldn't believe it. It took a few seconds to register what I was reading.

"A..are you serious" I said as my eyes started to fill up.

"100%" she smiled. I couldn't speak I just nodded, she chuckled and moved the tray away and leaned in and connected our lips. My body started tingling and my stomach flipped at the contact. I've been wanting this for nearly 2 months, I can't believe she is kissing me again.

"Now eat your breakfast" she said pulling away after a few seconds. She pulled the tray back in front of me. It looked amazing, pancakes, bits of bacon, some toast, a few strawberries, she really put some effort into this.

I finished eating and Arizona took the tray downstairs. I got up and turned the shower one, the smile never leaving my face. I can't believe she is my girlfriend again. The day has only just started and it's already the best birthday I've ever had. Once the water was hot I got in and washed my hair after about 15 minutes I got out and got dressed. It's going to be quite warm today so I settled on a pair of demi shorts and a black strappy top. I left my hair down and let it dry naturally, I couldn't be bothered to dry it. I went downstairs and found Arizona in the kitchen washing the pots. I walked up behind her and put my arms around her waist, resting my head on her shoulder.

"hey" she chuckled, putting down the sponge and turning around, before putting her arms around my shoulders.

"hey" 

"thank you for breakfast" I said 

"my pleasure" She smiled leaning in and giving me a peck on the lips.

"give me 5 minutes, then we are going out" She tried to turn around but I stopped her. I leaned in and kissed her, pulling her closer. After a few minutes of a good old make out session she pulled away, I moaned in frustration which caused her to laugh.

"later" she winked before turning her attention back to the pots. 

"Now come on " she said. 

"what are we doing" As soon as I said it I knew it was pointless, because I know she wouldn't tell me.

"have to wait and see" 

Once Arizona had finished we got our shoes on and headed out. We got in the car and Arizona started driving. I kept asking where we was going but she just ignored me. After about 40 minutes she pulled into a car park and I knew where we was. We are at my favourite beach. We got out the car and she took my hand in hers as we walked to the beach front, and I couldn't help but smile. Arizona is mine again after months of wishing and hoping. I feel like the luckiest women in the world. 

We walked along the sand, hand in hand, just talking. We even dared to put our feet in the water, Arizona ran out screaming the first time because of how cold the water was but we soon got used to it. We walked for about 20 minutes until we turned around and headed back up the beach. 

"Arcades" Arizona ask. She knows I'm a sucker for the Arcades.  She laughed when I jumped up in excitement like a little kid. We walked hand in hand up the beach towards the Arcades. Luckily it was a school day so there wasn't many people around so we practically had a free run of the Arcades. We went and changed some money so we could go on the 2p  and 10p machines. They are shit prizes but it's so fun. We then went against each other on the basketball game and I won, but I couldn't help but think Arizona let me win because it was my birthday, but I wasn't complaining. We spend the next 2 hours in the Arcades and it was amazing. We played so many games and won some prizes. Arizona won me a Teddy Bear that said I love you on it which I thought was so sweet. I haven't laughed this much or had this much fun in months. It made me forget the last 2 months ever happened and I was so glad to have break from it all.
