"More distractions? I could have sworn there were less of you when I got here... I guess things just fly by while on the job." Wolfram sighed to himself, his eyes then focused on the remains of Mina's restraints before he brought his attention back to the girl's bold claim. "You're quite brave to be able to jump in like that, but even if the attempt amounted to something compared to that fool of a scientist from earlier did you just say that you're the worst person I could possibly fight against?" He inquired, and he was more so wanting to know if he heard Mina right.

She... seriously didn't just melt a travelling bullet with her quirk... did she? Is Ashido's acid really that extreme?

In response to his own question, David tore off the piece of metal that silenced him. "Hmph, talk about a show-off." David quietly chuckled.

"Yup, you heard me. Whether it be metal or wood, my quirk will melt through it all. Want me to prove it you?" Mina smirked confidently. Y/N could only remain speechless at not only the sight of what his girlfriend just did, but also what she was doing right now as he remained completely still after trying to save Melissa beforehand.

Is she honestly trying to stand up to that guy?! I still can't believe she pulled that save off in the first place but that claim is just asking for trouble! Especially if it's towards a villain who knows how to use their quirk! Y/N internally exclaimed, though it wasn't like he could stop her if he wanted to. His scarlet red eyes looked over to Melissa who was still on the ground in surprise and he breathed a sigh of relief. Well, with Melissa safe that's one less problem we have to deal with I suppose.

"It'd be an interesting battle to say the least; a quirk that has had years of experience behind it versus one that is more than capable of breaching any metallic defence... We're really gonna need to step in before things get ugly." Scarlet told Y/N, who only nodded in agreement.

If things aren't ugly already, that is. Y/N thought.

Wolfram looked at her acidified arms that melted the bullet he fired, there was no need for any further questions on his part as he mentally came to a conclusion in regards to Mina's abilities. "By all means, do show me. A quirk such as yours may prove to be a powerful nuisance. But a brat like you should remember the difference between power..." Wolfram began and he swiftly dropped to one knee and planted a hand against the floor. "AND ACTUAL SKILL!"

"MINA!" Y/N called out with worry.

At once, a metal pillar formed from the floor and was sent straight towards Mina who wore a determined expression and dashed directly into its path. She outstretched her right arm and with the help of her quirk speeding her up she dodged to the side as the pillar shot past her, Wolfram went to manipulate it further but to his surprise Mina had plunged her acidified arm straight into the metal and gritted her teeth. The metal instantly melted from her quirk and Wolfram formed small metallic walls along the pillar's unmelted area to keep her still, yet Mina merely responded with a highly corrosive ball of acid that shot through every one until the villain moved his head to the side before it could hit him. She was closing the distance surprisingly fast but Wolfram smirked and raised a multitude of towering thick walls that allowed him to send forth several projectiles from their surfaces in an attempt to take her out of commission.

But Mina narrowed her black sclera eyes and swiped her right arm diagonally, and what followed was an arc of acid that completely carved through the original pillar that attacked her as she threw a glob of the corrosive substance from her left that shielded her from any projectiles going to hurt her. Wolfram was quick to form several more walls of metal to protect himself but when the pillar from before was effectively sliced in half the acid arc collided against his defences and melted through each and every one, not stopping for a second as each wall let off a loud hiss from the substance she created, followed by the next not even a moment later. The acid liquified its way through everything like no tomorrow, forcing the villain to roll out of the way from the devastating attack before he stood up and watched it continue all the way through the storage room's walls. It just missed the contents of said room that contained valuable inventions and more.
