Chapter 24 : High on Love

3rd Person POV:

"Hey (Y/N/N)!"

"Hey Freddie! "

"Don't you miss the better looking twin?"

"Hey Georgie! Don't you think the line is getting old?"

"No! It's classic." He grinned and (Y/N) rolled her eyes.

"So...What's the matter? A new prank?"

"Though that would be very much loved, we aren't doing a new prank."

"Then?"

"We want to give the map to Harry"

"Why? Because he isn't allowed to Hogsmeade and Mcgonagall knows very well about it and you want him to get caught?"

"No! We are sure he will not get caught. He can merge with the students. There will be a lot of them tomorrow. It's the last Hogsmeade weekend before Christmas holidays."

"Are you sure?"

"It's a wrench, giving it to him," said Fred, "but we decided, his need's greater than ours."

"Anyway, we know it by heart," said George. We don't really need it anymore."

"Well.....that kid needs some fun in his life for sure......so.....Let's do it. But ask him to be careful." She accepted at last.

"Sure (Y/N/N)!"

"But don't mention anything about me knowing about it, okay!"

"Why? Wanna maintain your goody-two shoes image? "

"No......but we need someone to save all your stupid asses if you get caught, don't we?"

"We always knew you loved us, love!"

"Yeah, more than Messon and Diggory."

"You've never been more far from the truth, my dear Weasleys.." She told them firmly, but her wide grin told them otherwise.

Neither (Y/N) nor Alex were in the mood to go to Hogsmeade the next day, and as they had already bought the Christmas presents, they skipped it and decided to stay in the common room and give a tour of their common room to Terrence and Dalton, along with Jessica, while Cedric and Cho had decided to go on a date that day. That could have also been a reason for (Y/N) staying behind, but we can only guess.

The Christmas holidays had begun and (Y/N) had stayed at Hogwarts as her mother was away on a mission. It took nearly a whole day to convince Alex that she'd be fine here on her own and he had to go home and meet his family. He was still stubborn and wanted her to come with him, but (Y/N) didn't like to barge into their home, unannounced and disrupt a peaceful family occasion. She knew that Alex's parents won't mind. She understood how sweet they were through Alex's words and their letters to Alex that had a little part addressed to her regularly, asking her about her well-being. But she just wanted to stay at the castle. So, she promised Alex that she'd come to his home in Summer holidays and made him pack, at last.

But what she didn't expect was Cedric's stay. She had come to know that, on the eve of the day the students returned home, that his parents were going to visit his great aunt in France, who he despised with everything in him, for her blood-discrimination. His parents didn't support her views too, but they had to visit her that year, at least for a formality. So, he had decided to stay in the castle.

(Y/N) woke up early on the day of Christmas, high on Christmas spirits and ran towards the boys' dorm to wake Cedric up, in her t-shirt and shorts.
