Chapter 9 : His first crush

3rd person POV :

(Y/N) left the class as quick as she could, after the bell rang. She sat in an alcove that was hidden from view and clutched her head in her hands.

"Hey! What's wrong?" Looking up, she saw Alex was standing there.

"Nothing"

"And you expect me to believe it?" He sat beside her.

"I-"

"No! It's okay. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to"

"I just realized I have been in love with Cedric! I am confused. What should I do now? "

"Don't worry! We'll find a solution"

"Will we?"

"If you want to confess to him, and if he rejects you, I'll be here to comfort you. Or if you want to move on, I'll be there to spend time with you"

"Aww...who would have expected the Alexander Messon to be so sweet?" She teased him.

"Shut up!"

(Y/N) laughed.

"Can I tell you something?"

"Sure! What is it?"

"You were my first crush"

"WHAT!?!!" She shouted. " I'm sorry! What? "

"Yeah! My first crush was you"

"When?"

"Fourth year"

"And now?"

"Now, what?"

"What happened to your crush now?"

"Well..... It was just a summer crush! It just went away I think I felt that way because you were the first girl to talk to me in the whole castle. It was something special. So you became my first crush."

(Y/N) could speak nothing except a soft "Oh!"

"Don't worry!" Alex continued cheerfully "That didn't last long. I'm seeing someone else!"

She smiled "Well, who is this lucky lady?"

He whispered the name.

"I don't know why.... But many Hufflepuffs are developing crushes on people in the Gryffindor qudditch team"

He smiled. "Do you want to go to lunch?"

"Actually, I'm very hungry!"

"Shall we?"

"Race you to the great hall !" She told him before she started running.

Alicia Spinnet was sitting in her charms class, when a paper bird flew to her. This had become a common occurrence in the past two weeks, where a paper bird with a compliment, carved with a wand, about her, will find its way to her.
