Chapter 3: Shorty!

(Y/N)'s POV :

"My mum has told me so much about you!" I told him, once we were out of Harry's compartment.

"Did she?!" He asked. I nodded, smiling.

"You are exactly like your mother. You even have the same patronus!"

"Guess I love her so much. She's my only family, you know....." I trailed off.

Of course, he knew!

"So, I am guessing your mom taught how you how to produce a patronus as it actually exceeds school syllabus."

"Yes she did....We don't have a friendly relation with the dementors right?"

He chuckled. "Definitely not!"

"So...I guess I'll see you in class, professor ! "

He grinned. "You will, don't worry! Until then, goodbye!"

"Bye professor " I called to him before entering Ced's compartment, only to see Ced and Cho.....Holding hands!!! Wow! That was lot more than I expected! I smirked at their hands. They abruptly pulled away following my gaze. Both were blushing like mad!

"Guess I have to find another compartment......"

"No...It was just because of the dementors." Cho told me "Nothing else!" Do I see a flicker of disappointment? Yes, I do!

" I will get going. Marietta will be looking for me." She told us.

"If you are sure..." I told.

"Yeah...bye (Y/N)" I smiled "Bye Ced" He smiled too.

Ced? Only I get to call him that. He had never let any other friend of ours use that nickname. It was reserved for me. He would tell that himself. He told me it was special. That I was special! I am not gonna deny this. I am outright jealous. I mean, Cho is a very sweet girl and I am happy for my friend, but that does not mean he can just give away my position to someone else. Even if it is his crush! I don't mind if he dates. But, he would not replace me right? Or, would he?

"You here, Shorty?" He snapped his fingers in front of my face.

"Huh?....yeah...just Zoned out!"

"I could see that. Or you would have tried to rip my head off for calling you 'shorty'! "

"Yeah" He shrugged "but I am taller than you"

"That means you have grown abnormally."
