And behind him, out of the mist are stepping nearly four dozen soldiers. They look as they are under a spell; their faces cold and sharp and they had a twisted sickening grin on their face. In seconds they have encircled us, my brothers and lover holding their swords pointed at them. 'Take them!' The ghostly figure of Jadis commands and all hell breaks loose. The soldiers just keep coming and coming as in waves. A thunderstorm rolls over us and the wind is icy cold. When I look at Jadis, she smirks evil. I have to push Lucy out of the way and she rolls over the wet grass, I grab her wrist and pull her up. But only to be kicked to the ground and Lucy is dragged away by a soldier. She screams and fights as I scream her name in fear. Luckily, we both have a dagger and I stab the soldier who is trying to grab me. Peter, Edmund and Caspian are wildly slicing and stabbing. I meet Ed's gaze and see that he has a gasp on his forehead. He nods and I smile before I have to duck as a soldier charges at me. Hope wells up inside my chest as I see that several of Rabadash men are lying dead on the wet grass. Lucy is standing by my side once again, having killed the man who tried to take her. My dress is torn till my left hip. 'Susan!' Caspian screams my name as he kills a young looking soldier, he rushes to me and grabs my waist as Lucy stands before me, stabbing another soldier. 'That is enough!' Rabadash yells in anger and his soldiers stop. I look for Peter and Edmund and see that they are on their knees, swords by throats and tears of anger well up in my eyes. I face Rabadash. 'Let my brothers go!' I sneer at him. But a soldier standing close to Caspian, gives him a kick on the back, letting him fall on his knees. 'Drop your sword' He hisses as Caspian does what he says and a sword is at my lover's throat. 'Queen Lucy' Another soldier is face to face with my sister, pointing his sword at her stomach. Lucy groans in anger as she drops her dagger and he grabs her wrists and holds them behind her back. I let my own dagger fall to the ground as a soldier pushes me towards Rabadash, my whole body freezes in fear as he grins. Rabadash is fast as he wraps his arms around me, pulling me close to his chest. I scream as I feel his breathing against my neck. 'Is this how you greet me? My barbarian queen? He says, loud enough for my family to be heard. Fear is all over my body and I try to hold back a scream. My eyes find Ed's and he sees my horror. His own expression is rage and the same can be said of Peter and my beloved Caspian has no idea who this man really is. I struggle against his hold as he holds me tighter. 'Now now, is this the way to treat one you so rudely abandoned? My barbarian queen? He rasps into my ear. I look at Edmund and Peter and find Caspian's eyes. I cannot, he cannot. I cannot think. His arms around my body.... not again!
'I have waited so long for you my barbarian queen' He says while burying his face into my neck. I gasp for breath and try to control my fearful breathing. Caspian struggles against his captor as he sees what Rabadash does to me. I try to run from him, trying to unhook from his hands around my waist. A cold shiver runs down my spine as I feel his mouth on my neck and Edmund, Peter and Caspian go crazy. 'Oh my' He says as he untangles himself from my neck but still holds me tight. 'You are even more beautiful than I remember. And you are so young too! How old are you? Sixteen, seventeen?' He says hungrily as his eyes travel down my trembling body. Edmund, Peter and Caspian scream curses and threats at him but that only makes him smile more. He starts yelling orders to his troops but I am too afraid, too frozen to take notice of it. I look helpless as the soldiers bound my siblings in chains. My brothers are thrashing wildly to break free. I hear a yell of frustration and see three large soldiers, I think that they might have giant blood, they are trying to bound him in chains. But he is fighting every second but one of them hits him with the hilt of his sword on Caspian's head with a loud snap. Lucy screams as she sees Caspian fall on his knees and I thrash to be free, to go to him and I succeed! I make a mad dash as I break free of Rabadashs hold. But he grabs my wrist and slaps me across the cheek. I suppress a yelp as I stumble back as he holds me once again. My brothers and Caspian curse at him and are still trying to break free of their chains. Lucy is crying and pleading with the soldiers to let me go. Blood is trickling down Caspian's face but he just winks at me and a small smile.
He is going to be okay.
We are going to be okay.
