This takes place a few days after the last chapter.

I'm sorry if this chapter is really shitty considering how late it is.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••

I groan when someone continuously rings the doorbell.

Ugh.

I fucking hate school.

I literally roll out of my bed onto the floor in hopes that it'll wake me up.

I groan again as my ribs connect with my hardwood flooring.

Okay.

I admit, that wasn't one of my smartest ideas.

I lazily pick myself up off of the floor and make my way downstairs.

Thank god I have lived in this house my whole life.

I can walk towards the front door with my eyes shut due to muscle memory.

I shiver when my feet inevitably connect with the cold flooring downstairs, quickly making my way towards the door.

I have to open my eyes to unlock the door, swinging said door open.

It takes everything out of me not to roll my eyes at the person at the door.

"What do you want, Ruby?" I tiredly sigh out

The red haired girl's smirk does not falter as she barges past me into my house.

Is she serious right now?

It is way too early for Ruby to be playing these dumbass games.

"Uh, I want to take you to school," she tells me with a suspicious look

She's suspicious of me?!

"It's a school day, or did you forget?" She teases me with a lighter mood

I roll my eyes at her as she wakes her way into the kitchen.

Why is she roaming my house?!

I swiftly follow behind her.

"Are you serious right now?" I ask her, the hostility making itself known

Ruby recognizes this and turns to face me with a confused facial expression.

"What?" She asks, not catching on

I cross my arms against my chest.

"Are you really not going to apologize for yesterday?" I ask her

Ruby continues to give me a confused facial expression.

"What are you talking about Hails?" She asks me

I raise an eyebrow at her.

She has a serious look in her eyes.

Ruby is rarely ever serious unless she is confused.

"Yesterday when you barged in on my girlfriend and I in the middle of our conversation and dragged me to a fifty percent off sale only to proceed to buy nothing" I explain to her

Ruby thinks this over with a serious facial expression.

Wait-

She's being serious.

"Are you pranking me, because that never happened" she tells me

How doesn't she-

Why doesn't she-
