Warning: Panic/Anxiety Attack
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Ouch.
Ouch.
Ouch!
I groan out with frustration as I try to put my hair up but can barely move my arm due to agonizing pain.
This is ridiculous.
I grab my cellphone and dial a phone number with my one good hand before clicking the call button.
My cellphone rings a few times before the person answers the phone.
"Hello?" Hanna asks
"Are you busy right now?" I ask her a little weaker than intended
I am assuming that Hanna notices this because of the question that she asks me next.
"Haley, are you okay?" She asks me
I mentally sigh at her question.
No, not at all.
"I'm fine," I quickly brush off her question
"Can you come home and help me get ready for Prom?" I ask her
Hanna is silent for a few seconds.
"Haley-" she begins to say with a worried tone of voice
"Hanna, please!" I say, my voice cracking
The girl on the other line sighs before agreeing and hanging up.
I place my cellphone down in front of me and rest my forehead on my good hand.
'Was this your plan all along?' Alexis's voice echoes in my head
My heart begins to speed up which affects my breathing.
'You're not leaving me!'
My breaths of air begin to ascend, becoming more rapid.
I remove my hand from my forehead and move it to my throat, feeling like I am getting no air to my lungs.
'You said that you loved me! Yet here you are leaving me!'
I begin to bring my knees up to my chest, feeling like the walls are closing in on me.
'Do you still love me?!'
'Y-Yes'
'Liar!'
Black dots begin to dance in my vision.
I squeeze my eyes shut, trying to desperately get a grasp on reality but to avail.
'I love you, I love you, I love you, please get off of me!'
I feel a hand on my shoulder which causes my heart to jump in my heart due to fear.
I immediately jump away from the touch, sliding back until my back is against the nearest wall.
"Haley, it's me," the voice says in a gentle tone
"It's Hanna," she tries to soothe me
The older blonde haired woman squats down a few feet in front of me, respectfully giving me my space.
I do not look away from the floor, keeping my body as balled up as possible.
"Haley, I need you to look at me," she instructs
