What are your favorite type of tropes to read? (i.e haters to lovers, friends to lovers, strangers to lovers, friends to lovers to strangers)

"I literally cannot thank you guys enough for helping me" I say as I grab a deli platter from the passenger seat of car

The group of girls chuckle.

"You seem like you needed the help" Georgette shrugs her shoulders

I roll my eyes at her joke as I place two sealed deli platters in her hands.

Georgette takes this as her chance to walk away from me and towards the school doors.

"I had nothing better to do," Kaleigh-Anne says with shrug

I give her a suspicious facial expression as I place two sealed deli platters in her arms.

Seriously?

She notices my facial expression and sighs.

"Fine, I'm just here for the food" she reveals before making her way towards the school

I roll my eyes at her just as a laugh bubbles past my lips.

Honestly I do not blame her.

We may go to a private school, but our food is bland and oddly textured.

I wish that we were allowed to bring lunch bags or outside food into the school.

Quite frankly I am shocked that I have not been reprimanded by any nosey teachers or staff yet.

Farrah approaches me with a elated facial expression, her high ponytail swinging with each step that she takes towards me.

"Your friends are... interesting" the ash blonde haired girl jokes

I hand her a deli platter and grab the last one out of the seat before closing the car door behind me and locking it.

"In all fairness, I met them yesterday" I tell her as we make our way towards the school

As I look ahead of me I noticed Georgette and Kaleigh-Anne entering the school doors through the side of the building.

We are taking the side entrance versus the front entrance because the principal is most likely to be near the front entrance during lunch.

Plus this way is closer to the cafeteria.

"So," the cheerleader says as we continue to make our way towards the side entrance

I hum, letting her know that I am listening.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come to my house after the game?" the girls casually asks me

What?

That is such a random question.

I mean- we have barely known each other for two days.
