Some of y'all are about to be real mad at me.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"Are we there yet?" I laugh out as Farrah leads me blindly through the hallway
I absolutely did not want to do this at first.
Farrah convinced me into it once she assured me that it was nothing at all bad.
The girl doesn't respond as she walks us a few more steps.
"Okay, open your eyes" she tells me
I do as she says, blinking a few times to let my eyes adjust to the change of lighting.
We are currently inside of the empty gymnasium.
There are large pieces of holographic confetti and regular confetti messily scattered on the glossy wood floor.
Some of the confetti is covered by balloons of various different sizes.
I smile as I gently gently kick a random balloon out of my path.
There are colorful strobe lights and a disco ball, most likely rented, that are still on.
I laugh with delight as I turn around to face the cheerleader who is watching me with a look of pure amusement.
"Why did you bring me in here?" I ask since this is where they obviously had the Pre-Prom party
The ash blonde haired girl remains silent as she reaches her hands up to her head.
I furrow my eyebrows with confusion as she removes the gold tiara from her head.
This time I am silent as she turns said tiara around and gently places it on top of my head with a small smile.
"What are you doing?" I ask her
There is no way that I could have prepared myself for the words that came out of her mouth next.
"A queen needs a crown, doesn't she?" she tells me softly
Oh my god.
My heart begins to race in my chest as she takes a step towards me.
"Just tell me if you want me to stop" she says lowly as she gently places her hand on my cheek
She gently runs her thumb along my cheekbone before leaning in.
It suddenly becomes harder to breathe the closer her face gets to mine.
What happened to 'you can't be friends with her'?
What happened to your leadership?
I ignore these thoughts as she stops her face in front of mine, not connecting our lips.
My heart pounds painfully in my chest.
She is waiting for you to make contact!
Do it!
I listen to my heart and tilt my head, leaning in the last few inches so that Farrah and I's lips finally connect.
All the air is ripped out of my lungs as I reach my hand up to rest on Farrah's cheek, deepening our kiss.
I lead her through the kiss since she seems to clam up.
I assume that she likes this decision judging by the moan that leaves her mouth and vibrate through my body.
I chuckle at this and softly catch her bottom lip in my mouth.
I gently suck on said lip, not wanting to accidentally give her a hickey, before gently taking it between my teeth to play with.
