I am currently dressed in a thick, heavy silver dress with gold accents. The gold belt had to be slightly adjusted so that it properly cinched my waist. The dress stops at my upper thighs, due to this they allowed me to wear spandex underneath this.
For shoes they gave me a pair of black triangle toed stilettos.

After I was finished getting dressed they did my makeup and hair at the same time which thoroughly confused me.
Is this normal?
"When you go out there just try to walk on your toes, one foot in front of the other" the pantsuit lady tells me
I hum since the makeup person has an eyeliner pencil a little too close to my eyeball.
"Make sure your posture is perfect, so shoulders back and chin parallel with the ground" the hairstylist says as he takes my clip out and pulls my hair back into a low ponytail
I hum again.
"If you do end up falling try to play it off" the makeup artist tells me
"Basically don't do what Alexis did" the lady in the pantsuit tells me as she holds her hand out for me to grab
I do so which causes the makeup artist and hairstylist to instantly remove their hands from their respective locations.
I carefully get down from the chair and make my way towards the area behind the curtain.
"What's your name, sweetie?" The lady in the pantsuit asks me
"Haley Wilder" I tell her
She hums and writes it down on an index card.
"Wait here until he calls your name" she instructs me before walking out onto the stage
I take in a deep breath as I position myself behind the curtain.
My heart begins to go batshit crazy in my chest.
Shit.
Why did I agree to this?!
Oh yeah!
I am covering for Alexis, though it doesn't seem to be working too well.
Everyone here already seems to dislike her, or at least the staff does.
