So this is Matt, Carly's boyfriend. I really wanted to get a good idea of what they looked like sooo yeah. Next is Jared! Okay enjoy!

-------

I blinked my eyes a few times to be able to see clearly. I was staring up at a black ceiling, there were no lights on anywhere. The only ray of light was the bright moon shining through the window, causing silhouette shadows on the walls.
I lightly moved my good leg, it touched something furry and warm. I wiggled my toes and the thing moved.
A purring Flame came to my side and snuggled me, I smiled.
I tried to move my head, but my neck wouldn't let me, I lifted my good arm and rubbed the back of my neck to relax it. I slowly looked around the room as my eyes adjusted to the dark.
I was laying on a bed in the hospital. My leg was wrapped in thick gauze, and still looked purple and huge. My arm throbbed with a giant slash on it, also covered in gauze. I saw some bottles of medicine on shelves, and it looked like there was somebody else in the room.
"Huh? What? Paige...." The voice murmured in his sleep.
"Wait... Don't. Don't take her... Please don't die. Paige... Paige! PAIGE!" He started yelling. He must be having a nightmare, I thought. Mason slept in a chair next to my bed, squirming in a bad dream.
"Mason. Mason it's okay. I'm here. I'm alive." I whispered. My throat was still very dry and I couldn't talk that well still.
His head shot up, his breathing became heavy, his gorgeous blue eyes twinkled in the moonlight, his face was stained with tears. I missed his face so much, I just wanted to hold him, to know he was in front of me, and this wasn't just a dream.
"It's okay. Calm down. I'm okay." I whispered softly.
"You're alive. I could've sworn you were gone for good." He sighed in relief. His sleepy voice was so adorable.
"Lay with me." I said. He quickly got up, scooted Flame to the other side of me, and lifted up the blankets I was under.
"I won't hurt you, will I? Does this hurt?" Mason said as he slid next to me, he wrapped his arm gently around my waist. I never felt more warm and safe in my life. His body against mine made me feel better than ever.
Of course I couldn't move much, but Mason just gently straddled me, making everything okay.
"You make me feel better than ever." I whispered, smiling like an idiot.
"I missed you so much. I love you." Mason said sincerely.
"I love you more."
"Impossible." He chuckled. I missed that chuckle.
"Do you ever notice how we fit together like two puzzle pieces?" He asked.
I laughed weakly, "That's exactly what I've been thinking."
"I know right!" He sighed sleepily as he put his head in the crook of my neck, his breath on my neck tickled, making me giggle.
"Paige."
"Yeah?" I replied as my eyes closed.
"You're my missing puzzle piece."

---

"Wake up beautiful." I heard Mason's sweet voice as my eyes fluttered open.
"Hey." I croaked. My body felt better enough to where I could sit up, but everything was still sore. Flame was still purring by my side, so I scratched her head.
"You get to get out of the hospital today. The rabies shot flushed most of the infection out of your system. You should be able to come with me today." He said happily. He sat down on my bed, his puffy morning face was so cute.
"That's great." I answered. I swallowed hard and coughed.
"Here, take some water." He handed me a glass from the nightstand next to the bed. I gladly took it and almost inhaled it.
"You can take a shower in that room over there." He pointed to a door at the other end of the room. "You stank girl!" He laughed as he plugged his nose. I laughed and slapped his arm playfully.
"Aaand you might wanna change because... Um... Uh..." He stuttered, staring at my chest.
I looked down to see a huge hole that was showing a huge area of my chest, I was lucky nothing popped out. I covered up my chest with my good arm, my face turned red as I laughed. Mason was doubled over laughing like a crazy person at me.
"Not my fault I was in a smelly prison for hours!" I said.
"I know it's my fault. I should've been watching better. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I just-"
"Nono it was not your fault. It was nobodies fault. You can't predict when bad things are going to happen. I've seen what's beyond those walls, and believe me, it's not pretty at all." I interrupted.
"How did you get out? Nobody has ever came out of the prison alive." Mason told me.
"A woman helped me." I said, thinking about Alex.
"We gotta get you to my parents. Hurry. Get ready. We're blowing this Popsicle stand." He chuckled. He pulled the covers off of me and gently lifted me off the bed. He carried me to the bathroom and set me down on the toilet with the seat down.
"Okay I will wait for you outside." He said as he shut the door.
I leaned over the tub and turned on the faucet. A thin stream of murky water came out. I thought about how terrible it must be for these people to have to shower like this every day.
I slipped off the dirty stained dress and stared at its remains. It was sad that a pretty dress like that got so ruined.
I used the little water I had to scrub all the blood, sweat, and sand off of my body.
I peeked my head out of the door to ask Mason a question.
"Hey babe?"
"Yeah?" He answered. He was laying on the bed, he lifted his head up to see me.
"Where are my clothes?"
"Oh! Hold on I will get it." He got up from the bed and removed my suitcase from under it. He slid it to me and I picked it up with my good arm.
"Thanks." I said, giving him a warm smile that he returned.
I put on some deodorant and other good smelling things. I slipped on a baggy pair of Nike shorts, my black vans, and my favorite T-Shirt. It was a dark purple with bold pink letters on the front that said "SURFBOARD". It was referring to one of my favorite songs by Beyonce. I always thought she was the most powerful woman in the world, so my mom got me that shirt a few Christmases before.
I limped out of the bathroom, leaning against the door. Mason didn't realize that I was watching him. He was being an idiot and dancing around the room, singing a Drake song.
"Now she want a photo, you already know doe." He was singing. I laughed and finished the lyric before he could.
"You only live once, that's the motto nigga yolo." I said. He turned to me, he stopped dancing and his face turned red. I laughed so hard it started to hurt.
"You dork!" I said.
"You woulda done the same thing!" He said laughing. I tried to walk over to him, but my leg hurt.
Mason picked me up again.
"I got you babe." He said chuckling. His words put a goofy smile on my face.
He set me down for a second to grab my bag. He extended the strap on it so he could throw it over his shoulder. He picked up Flame and handed her to me. He lifted me back up and walked toward the door.
"You're so strong. I would be dying right now if I were you." I said.
"Well you weigh almost nothing." He said. I laughed at his comment.
He walked me out of the room and down a hallway full of doors.
"This is where hurt people go. All these rooms are usually full." Mason said gloomily. I made a promise to myself that when I learn my gift, the hospital was the first place I was gonna go.
Mason carried my weak body back to his house. As soon as I stepped in, I was bombarded with hugs and food and questions.
"Paige! You're okay!" Stella and James welcomed me warmly. Mason set me down on the couch with my cat, I couldn't stop staring at the plates of eggs and bacon that laid on the table in front of me.
"Okay let's dig in, I can see you must be starving Paige. You are practically drooling!" Stella laughed.
I chuckled as I wiped the saliva off my cheek that was beginning to come out of my mouth. We grabbed plates of food and ate as they asked me questions.
I just told them everything from the door combination to the secret passage behind the giant wall. They were very interested in what Kodak said to me.
All Martins must be destroyed... Or used...
I decided to leave out my dreams becoming reality. I wanted to figure out what was going on in my head by myself.
"That giant metal building thing. I've seen it before. I assumed its where they stored the dogs, but why need so much space? There were never that many dogs," James's eyebrow lifted up as he rubbed his chin.
"So many questions..." He kept muttering to himself.
There had to be some way to figure out all these little mysteries, I thought.
"Okay... I know I'm asking a bit too early, but we have to start getting down to business. When Kodak figures out that you've escaped, he will be outraged. Probably kill us all." Stella said. My heart leaped as I knew what she was going to ask me.
"Paige..."
"Yes?"
"Are you ready to discover your power?"
