Excuse the mistakes
And here, my dear readers, is your explanation for the end of the last chapter. Enjoy ;)

“You just don’t want to listen, do you?”
“Nope,” I replied breathlessly, and I tried to press my body further into the wall, praying fruitlessly that it would swallow me up. I raised a shaky hand to my mouth and wiped away the trail of blood that trickled out from the side.
My head was killing me, and I could feel the bruises that dotted my torso fighting as they formed and then tried to heal. My wrists and ankles were still stinging from where the nickel handcuffs had bit into them for hours. The skin was blistered and raw and painful to the touch.
“Dot, I swear to god, if you don’t unlock this door, you’re going to regret it,” Kane yelled, and I watched as the door knob jiggled. “I can break this door down!” he added angrily, and I nodded to myself. I’d known that, so as soon as I’d gotten into the bathroom, I pulled a container full of heavy toiletries and pressed it against the door.
It may not stop him, but it would give me more time away from Kane.
After my first escape attempt, which had been hours ago, Kane had kept me handcuffed to the bed. He’d tried to have conversations with me, but I’d kept myself unresponsive by glaring at the ceiling. I was angry at myself for being so helpless, and I was angry at Kane for acting like he could just take me and I’d be his.
When Kane had gone downstairs to get something to eat, I’d managed to snap one of the handcuffs by pulling my wrist towards my body. Kane, like an idiot, had left the keys to the handcuffs on the bedside table, and I was able to unlock the other wrist. Just as I’d started to release my last ankle, Kane had reentered to the room.
To say he’d been angry is an understatement. That tantrum he’d thrown was what had caused the bruises, bleeding, and possible concussion. Kane knew the ways to hurt me that wouldn’t kill me or prevent me from healing, but would cause immense pain.
However, as time went on, I realized that Kane wasn’t as smart as he acted, since he’d let me go the bathroom by myself. That was a mistake on his part because here I was, barricaded in the small bathroom and gathering my strength.
Suddenly, there was a loud thud as Kane threw himself against the bathroom door. With only one hit, the wood splintered, and with his second hit, Kane came crashing into my sanctuary.
“Come here, you stupid bitch!” Kane growled angrily, and he grabbed my arm and yanked me roughly to my feet. “I told you you’d regret this, Dot, but you wouldn’t fucking listen,” Kane said, pulling me close to him.
Instead of responding, I spat in his face. The mixture of blood and spit slid down his cheek, and I swear, Kane’s eyes turned bright red with anger. Without a word, he grabbed me by the hear and dragged me through the broken bathroom door into the bedroom.
Kane threw me to the ground, and the back of my head slammed into the metal bed frame. I saw stars, but before I could gather my bearings, my head snapped to the side and there was a stinging in my cheek. It took me a moment, but I realized Kane had slapped me, and I could feel the taste of metallic blood flooding my taste buds yet again.
