Zac's POV

I was peacefully sleeping when someone knocked on the door. I reluctantly went to open the door.

"Hey wear some clothes" Anne shouted as soon as I opened the door.

"I am wearing track pants and plus I didn't know you would show up" I said and slipped in a t-shirt

"I brought you bagels" Anne chirped

"Thanks there's a reason I love you" I said hugging her.

We then started talking and talked for hours mostly about our friends and the time we spent together.

"So if I am not wrong Akira is your ex from Newyork" she said suddenly changing the topic

"Yeah" I said in a low voice

"What's the deal?" She asked

"Considering you are my ex girlfriend too should I be talking to you about this?" I asked.

Yes she is my ex girlfriend but she is also a great friend. I love her I really do but in a friendly way.

"I am your friend too dumbass, I want to know" she said hitting my arm

"Okay fine. What do you want to know?" I gave in

"Why did you guys break up?" She asked

I narrated her the whole thing

"You dumbass" Anne remarked.

"Hey I know I made a mistake you know. I already regret it"I said

"Yeah I can see that" Anne said

"How did you know though I never showed you her picture and always refered to her as angel" I said suprised

"Yeah but the way you look at her says everything and specially when she was talking on the phone with some guy" she said and I looked outside

"I know you love her" she said

"I do I really do but she doesn't. I hurt her and that is what she will remember when she thinks of me. And then there is this handsome British man named Twan who is also the guy she was talking to on the phone" I exhaled sharply

"I think she still has feelings for you she is just unsure. She'll come around and as far as you hurting her is considered I don't think she will hold that against you if she really loves you. Love isn't confined within the boundaries of mistakes" she said and I smiled warmly

"Now I got to go , I have a lot of homework" Anne said

"I am dropping you and I am not taking no for an answer" I said and went to drop her off.

As I returned and got off the cab I saw angel and Twan talking to eachother and then hug.

Are you kidding me? Why are they hugging? Did they start dating already? Shit Anne you are wrong.

I walked towards angel as Twan left.

"Hey Zac! Where did you go?" Angel asked me happily
