Akira's POV

After leaving the carnival we ate at Anne's favourite Italian restaurant , it was good. Zac and Anne couldn't stop giggling at their inside jokes while Gina and I tried to have a conversation.

"Did you enjoy?" Zac asked me as we sat in the cab.

"Yeah I did." I said and smiled at him which he returned

"So, Anne..... she is a nice girl" I said.

"Yeah she is. I am glad you liked her" Zac said.

It was weird hearing him complimenting another girl. But I stopped my thoughts there. I have no right to be jealous. He can date anyone he wants.

"How do you know her?" I asked

"We went to the same school in Ohio and I knew she was studying here so I asked her if she wants to meet me but she said she wanted to stay in as she just returned from Ohio" Zac said

"Oh" I could only say that.

The rest of the ride I remained silent and Zac was too busy texting to break it.

When I finally reached my room, I freshened up and started replying to my texts.

Sydney and Nathan texted me as usual and after replying to them I viewed the messages sent by Twan.

You have a lot of free time considering you are a buisnessman.
I replied.

You need to make some free time for the once you care about. He replied after a few minutes.

🙂 I am very bad at replying to these kinds of messages.

Do you have the whole day off tomorrow? Twan asked

Yep. Guess what we are done with the project except for the trial run. I replied

Nice job 👍🏻. Then be ready by 10 we can go anywhere you like. He suggested

Oh okay. What about a tour of Harris and Co. ? I asked. I knew how passionate he was about it.

You really want to? I would love to show you around ☺️ Twan replied

Yes. See you tomorrow. Good night. I wished

Good night. Sleep tight. Twan replied and I kept my phone.

Next day:

I woke up and took a shower. I wore a black floral dress and kept my hair untied as it fell elegantly on my shoulder.
