Episode 4 - 3: Frigid

The Doctor slammed his fist into the pavement, a shockwave surging through the street and causing a small tremor under Reunion's force. Frostleaf took advantage of this and dashed past the dazed grunts, rushing straight for Mephisto.

"Snipers, Casters! Cover her!" Doctor yelled, holding out his hand to boost her as the Reunion members recovered.

"Ohh...? And just what do you want, little fox?" Mephisto asked as she closed in. "I want you to scream and beg. I want you to pay... with your life." Frostleaf exclaimed, her axe ready to do just that.

Amiya pushed through the frontline with Dark Matter Arts, scaring those she came across into fleeing and falling back. She tried to make it to the Doctor, who was handling himself better than ever before, looking untouchable as he darted around and made light-work of his adversaries.

"Mephisto, we're not letting you get away!" Amiya shouted. "Heh, I should've guess that these goons weren't enough to stop you." Mephisto said with a shrug. "You're going to pay for what you've done, you sick bastard!" Amiya roared in her fit of rage, blasting away a Reunion member unlucky enough to be in her way.

"You can't escape." Frostleaf exclaimed finally making it to Mephisto's last line of defense. "Little fox, you're getting a bit too close for comfort." Mephisto said with a smirk. "Because I am the one who will take your life. Those who don't respect the sanctity of life, do not deserve one of their own." Frostleaf said cleaving through a Reunion grunt with precision and speed.

"Heh... is that so..." Mephisto muttered as the area suddenly became cold in seconds. Frostleaf's feet became frozen in place, making her shocked.

"Doctor! Reunion forces are coming from all directions, but there aren't many!" Meteorite announced. "Oh no, it's the Yeti Squadron..." Meteorite observed, seeing their differences in clothing. The Doctor was affected by the temperature due to the heat of the electricity around his body, and looked around, noticing a layer of mist rising.

"Alright, I need to introduce you to a new friend." Mephisto said with a smirk. "Ahem~. Next up, put your hands together for the real star of the show... The nightmare of the northwest tundra, the master of the Yetis.." He began, his grin growing wider. "Miss... Frost... Novaaaaa~!" He announced with a deranged glare. "She will freeze every bit of your flesh, every drop of your blood... Bit. By. Bit!" Mephisto said as the temperature continued to slowly decrease.

"We need to retreat!" Amiya shouted, but the buildings, street, and structures all began to get covered in a thin layer of ice, at the center of this anomaly, was a woman with back-length, white hair and bunny ears as well, large black shards of ice floating around her.

"Mephisto... I should have left you to slowly freeze to death in the tundra like the psychopath you are." FrostNova commented. "Oh my, scary, scary~. But Rhodes Island is right in front of us." Mephisto ignored her.

"Frostleaf... Back up." Amiya ordered. "...Amiya, take them with you." Frostleaf retorted. "I refuse. That person is..." Amiya trailed off as the sound of ice crunching hit their ears. "She's coming towards me.. we can't win." Frostleaf exclaimed. "Ha... even though, I would've liked to live a bit longer... I'm glad that I had the chance to meet all of you. Hurry." Frostleaf said, accepting fate. "Frostleaf!" Amiya yelled. "Hurry!" She screamed back.

"Don't worry, Rhodes Island. I'll give you a painless death." FrostNova stated as the ice began to increase, covering almost everything in sight, even the flames had been frozen over.

"No one..." The Doctor said walking towards Frostleaf with a blank stare. He disappeared and reappeared in front of her, the ice crawling up her body melting at the plasma around him. "...Left behind." He muttered, his body swirling with even more power, using his maximum, his pupils glowing white, and the pink and lavender glow flaring around him.
