The Doctor was sitting at a beach side table, by himself, as Amiya helped Operator Gummy with a stall she set up in the food court.

Angel smiled at the breeze, leaning back in his chair with sigh of relief.

Suddenly, his face was covered by some sort of cloth.

"What the...?"

The Doctor sat up and saw an operator staring at him blankly. The two exchanged only silence, before the operator noticed his black glass arm.

"With the way your dressed, and your weird accessory, you look unusual for a tourist." Schwarz stated.

"What do you mean the way I'm dressed? What's wrong with my outfit?" Angel asked in confusion.

She gave him a judgmental stare, before shaking her head. "Weirdo..."

"Hmph. I guess I'm one to talk. I'll buy us drinks to excuse my rudeness."

Sipping on fruit punch, much to Schwarz disdain at his childishness, Angel was still staring at sea.

"What do you think about this budding city? I'm quite fond of her, you see. Youthful, but maturing well." Schwarz asked.

"Are you from here?" Angel asked.

"Though I wasn't born here, this place is my home now. I am willing to pay a lot in order to protect it. No matter where people are from, they all hold the same love for their family, right?"

"...I..." Angel thought about family. But he quickly stopped, knowing that his biological one was beyond his recognition.

"Boss," a dark-skinned man in a suit called, "Mister Cronin is looking for you." The man informed Schwarz.

'Why's her wearing a suit in 80 degree weather...?'

"...I know," Schwarz said with a bit of irritation. "I still have work to do. I hope that you too can fall in love with this city. Be seeing you, stranger."

Schwarz parted, making Angel wonder why such an encounter happened.

'Notes from our interaction: she's an important figure in Siesta. She has relations to the sketchy Catastrophe Messenger. She was oddly enough willing to talk to me...' Angel thought.

'Am I... am I good looking enough to get someone like her to talk to me?!' Angel asked with a small blush.

Snapping out of his weird school-girl thoughts, the Doctor picked up his buzzing phone and answered the call.

"Hey, Doctor, can you hear me?" Provence asked. "Yup." Angel replied, starting to sip his juice again.

"Is anyone around you? I have something very serious to report! It's something that influences whether this city lives or dies..."

"HUH—"

Sitting on his hotel's bed, Angel gazed at Provence, Skyfire, and the main broadcaster of Siesta: Ceylon, a woman in very fancy white clothing with a long blue skirt.

"That's basically how we found her." Provence wrapped up.

"I have a question." Ceylon interrupted.

Did you really have to give an entire dissertation of how you saved me?" She asked in embarrassment.

"I'm with the lassie here. Who are you calling annoying?!" Skyfire said with glare.

"What's important is your safety. Originium slugs of that density shouldn't be possible based off the percentage in this city." Angel sighed.
