7:55 AM / OvercastRhodes Island Cabin #6, Lok Tai Chau, Lungmen Harbor
________
"Holy shit... He... leveled an entire city..." Kal'tsit analyzed in shock, watching the blast the Doctor shot cut the entire sub-city in half. "It looks like the attack was caused by only his finger... Just what happened while you were braindead?" Kal'tsit wondered, glancing at the Doctor, who slept in a medical cabin, sleeping peacefully after being healed.
"Alright. Wake his ass up. We need him for the mission." Kal'tsit ordered the medic at his bedside. The medic looked hesitant to wake him up, and Kal'tsit sighed. She grabbed the glass of water at his bedside, and dumped it on his face.
The Doctor's eyes shot open, and he darted to the door with his power activated, crashing face first.
"What... the hell just..." he groaned holding his nose. "Ha... that wasn't intended, but it's a welcome surprise. Anyway, get ready. The Siege for Lungmen begins soon." Kal'tsit said making the Doctor confused. He looked down and saw he was in a medical gown, had bandages wrapped around his right hand and leg, and was in a hospital room.
"Oh..." He remembered. "Yeah. Don't gawk all day— we don't have enough time. Get dressed immediately. Find Ch'en, and leave with her. You're direly needed... Doctor." Kal'tsit informed.
"I can't catch a break..." the Doctor said grabbing his refreshed uniform from Kal'tsit, glaring at them in irritation. "Why so upset?" She asked. "Just... want all this to end. I'm so tired." The Doctor said with a shrug, removing his medical gown, the medic turning away with a blush. "You're too young to say that... I think." Kal'tsit replied.
"It hurt so much using all that power. My body was burnt and torn from the inside out, and my bones were shattered." The Doctor stated, making her nod. "You're right. Look at your right hand." Kal'tsit gestured. He did, and his fingers were almost charcoal black down to his knuckles, despite only using one of them. "It's the one thing we could really heal. It's only a scar, but there may be some phantom pains." Kal'tsit informed.
"That's fine with me." The Doctor said slipping on his coat.
"Before you go, or just ask Ch'en, here's the situation." Kal'tsit said naming him a clipboard as he slipped on his pants. "Hmm... oh, damn. They got us good. Wow." The Doctor said with an unamused glare. "Indeed..." Kal'tsit agreed with a sigh.
"Oh, and one more thing. Wear this. It's a gauge on your power. They are only estimates from that short session the other day." Kal'tsit said hanging the Doctor a wristband. On it, was a simple screen, reminding him of a watch, but five digits were available. He slipped it on, and pressed the button the side. "It should be able to withstand at least 50% of your estimated maximum. I suggest you actually wear that somewhere else since, well, you'll obviously have to use more than that." Kal'tsit said pointing to his neck. "Like a collar?! Damnit..." The Doctor complained, the elastic band easily stretching over his head and snuggly fitting on his neck, the screen in the side. "It will tell you just about how much power using in a percentage, based off of how much force per attack. Like we did the other day. Got it?" Kal'tsit asked. "I should. Seems simple enough." The Doctor replied. "One last thing..." Kal'tsit said walking up to him. She looked at the screen, and tapped the button on the side again, making something prick the Doctor's neck without his knowledge.
"Don't believe when it says 100%... Don't believe in limits." Kal'tsit said with a dead serious, menacing stare, making the Doctor confused, but nod as well. Kal'tsit slapped his cheek lightly, before turning away.
"Alright, I'm off. See ya', Gran." The Doctor said with a wave. "Excuse me?!" Kal'tsit shouted as he left. The Doctor ran down the hall slipping on his rubber gloves as he did, running off to find Ch'en.
