Angel yawned as he sat in his office, up at a clean 5 in the morning. Flipping his pen around, he stared into space as he awaited whatever Kal'tsit had in store for him after learning of a nomadic entity In Chernobog's vicinity. It was a being either encased in Originium, or was Originium their entire being. He didn't care, he just wanted to make sure they weren't a threat.
But that's stupid because Originium was a threat by itself, so imagine a sentient version of it.
Looking at the image of a steely, sleek, and spiky figure with resemblance to armor, Angel scoffed. If it was truly made of pure Originium, that meant these clusters were just as bad as Mephisto.
"Damnit. If they wander too far, they'll blame us since we were the ones to handle Chernobog." Angel sighed.
"Think reasonably... I might be the only one capable of handling such high density Originium. I've fought Talulah though... no way they're stronger than her, right?" Angel wondered.
'Whatever it is, with my new arsenal, I'm almost unstoppable. But it's been a minute since I've been able to use my powers... I need to warm up.' He thought, seeings as the door to his office opened up.
Ch'en walked in with a peeved look on her face. She quickly approached his desk and leant on it, staring at him.
"Did... I do something wrong?" Angel asked with worry.
Ch'en looked at his nervousness at her sudden demeanor and rose an eyebrow.
"When don't you." She smirked. "But personally, yes. What were you thinking taking the scout mission alone? Your powers are limited while they're testing. You'll need backup." She said growing serious.
"You've already contracted a bit of Oripathy. I don't want to risk increasing your percentile over scouting." Angel replied.
"I'm not that weak. Besides, I'll come to live with it anyway. I'm not going to use that as an excuse. I can't slack." Ch'en argued.
"Listen, all I did was suggest I go alone. Next thing I know, Amiya will barge in and beat the shit out me for the same reaso—"
His door was slammed open and the predicted had arrived with a scowl on her face.
"OH GOD I WAS JOKING! Wait!" Angel shrieked in fear and backed into his chair.
"Doctor..." Amiya said with a sigh.
"Listen, it's no biggie. It's one simple entity, and you all know I can handle it. I'll be fine." Angel reasoned.
"You're our commander. We can't risk you over some scouting. We all know you're hindered by your research." Amiya retorted.
"I'll have you know I can still kick ass!" Angel declared, crossing his arms.
Amiya and Ch'en looked at each other, and back at his glare.

Angel rolled away from a wave of ice, his rough landing due to his lack of power amplification.
He vaulted off his hands and into the air, opening his mouth and spewing flames on the same scale as Talulah, but with less control.
The flames streamed forward and crashed into the ice, melting it within an instant, making FrostNova leap away, but not before slinging a blade of ice at him.
Catching the blade with no fear, he felt the Originium it derived from.
With a smirk, he created a duplicate and wielded the two swords.
Rushing forward, he lunged at FrostNova with a sword reeled back. He threw it at her fleeting figure and watched as a trail of black ice followed, allowing him to increased his speed as he slid behind it.
