Echo

"Fives, stop worrying so much. I know you hate being on leave, but you should of thought about it before you jumped in front of a blaster."

"It was for you! And if Echo was here he would of been pissed that I didn't." He said sternly.

"Stop worrying, now I have work to do. I'll see you tomorrow." I said softly.

I hung up and shook my head. Ever since we had stopped Palpatine, Fives had worries about every single thing, that I did. He barley trusted anyone, besides his brothers.

"(Y/n)! Guess what! The Bad Batch is here!" Jesse yelled calmly.

"The Bad Batch?" I asked as I walked up to him and Rex.

Rex's eyes went wide and he smacked Jesse over the head.

"Did I miss something?"

"No, not at all.... Quick question, how pissed would you be if I were to say Echo was alive and we have known for over a month?" Jesse asked calmly.

I looked between the boys and then felt my eye twitch.

Two minutes later I was walking towards the port and up to a ship. I watched as they got off and saw one of them look at us in fear.

"ECHO! I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOU!!" I yelled as I stormed to the ship.

"Friend of yours?" One of them asked.

"Partner." He said calmly.

"Seems pissed."

"I might of not told them I was alive."

"A MONTH! YOU HAVE BEEN ALIVE FOR A MONTH!!!" I screamed as I stopped in front of him.

"I thought you wouldn't want to see me." He said softly.

I finally got a good look at Echo and saw that a lot had changed. The anger instantly washed away and I let out a sigh.

"Of course I want to see you, idiot." I said as I pulled him into a hug.

He let out a sigh of relief and gently hugged me back.

"I missed you." I said softly.

"I missed you too."

"Just know, Fives is gonna strangle you when he finds out." I said as I pulled away from him.

His eyes went wide and I let out a laugh as I pecked his lips.

Next day

Echo held his breath as he saw the ship land. I sent him a smile and gently squeezed his hand.

"What if he doesn't recognize me?" He asked in a whisper.

"Babe, it's Fives. Of course he won't recognize you. He wouldn't recognize you even without the upgrades." I said with a laugh.

I watched as the door opened and Fives climbed off. He looked around and his eyes landed on us. I watched as he blinked twice and then whipped his eyes. He slowly walked up to us and I saw Echo tense up.

"Echo?" Fives asked softly.

"Been awhile."

In an instant Fives had his arms around Echo and was hugging him tightly.

"Aww, and he isn't even mad that we knew Echo was alive for a month." Jesse said softly.

I saw Fives tense up and then tighten his grip.

"A... month.?" He asked angrily.

"If it helps, (Y/n) just found out yesterday." Echo said as he pulled away.

"5."

"Why are you counting?"

"4."

"Fives, look... I wanted to tell you but was-"

"3 2 1! Come here you bastard!" Fives yelled as he took off after him.

I shook my head and smiled as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"It's good to have him back." I said softly.
