Fox 1

"Can I have a kiss?" I asked as I leaned over Thorn desk.

"Not right now, love. I'm busy." Thorn said as he continued to tap away in his data pad.

"Did you hear what I asked you?" I asked as I walked over to him.

"Yes." He said as I plopped down on his lap.

He let out a sigh and tried to continue working on his data pad.

"What did I ask you, then?" I asked with a smile.

"Can I have a kiss?" He asked as he rolled his eyes at me.

"Yes, you can." I said happily.

"(Y/n)-"

He was cut off by me removing his helmet and capturing his lips with mine. He let out a muffled groan. I thought he would kiss me back, but he pushed me away.

"I have to finish this report." He said sternly.

"You have been at it for over an hour, you need rest." I said softly.

"I will rest later, you should go, I need to get this done." He said angrily.

I let out a sigh and stood up. He grabbed the data pad and I quickly left his office. I made my way to my speeder and climbed onto it.

"Leaving already?" A voice asked.

I turned my head and smiled as I saw Fox walk up to me.

"Thorn has a report to do, so I'm leaving." I explained.

"I could of sworn I gave him today off." Fox said with a frown.

"Seriously?" I asked as I looked at him shocked.

"Give me a second." He said as he hit his comm.

"Thorn come in."

"There a problem sir?"

"No I was just seeing if you were working today."

"No sir, I have a hot date with a Togruta." He said happily.

"I really wish you hadn't said that, Thorn."

"Why's that sir?"

"Because (Y/n) is in front of me." Fox said softly.

I felt tears stream down my face and Fox sent me a look.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know." Fox said softly.

"I should of known.... I'm such an idiot." I said as I shook my head.

"Let me drive you home. I was heading that way anyways." Fox said as he gently touched my shoulder.

I nodded my head and he climbed onto the back of the speeder. He put his arms around me and started the speeder up. He took off and sped towards my apartment. When we arrived he walked me to the door.

"Do you want to come in?" I asked softly.

"I have some time to kill, so I guess I can." He said as he followed me inside.

I whipped my eyes and he shut the door behind us. He turned around and I felt another sob leave my lips. He looked around and then let out a sigh. He wrapped his arms around me and gently hugged me.

"It's okay, I got you." He whispered as he held me tightly.
