Logan walked around the camp, cleaning up the few remaining things they needed before continuing their return trip. He sighed as he slung his bow over his shoulder, the interaction between himself, his friends, and the stranger ran through his head. The man showed all the signs of abuse. He was too light for his height, he chugged the water as if he would be deprived of it and when Roman had mentioned how slow he ate the man had panicked and ate faster to appease them. Logan was intrigued by the man, he knew the other could tell them more about the dark king but he was worried he would trigger the man. Logan furrowed his brow as he thought that, he needed to ask the man if there were any triggers they should avoid since they were traveling together. He pulled out a small pocketbook and began to write but froze. They hadn't even asked his name. 

"Are you ok there Logan?" Roman called as he walked over to the concentrated man.

"I have realized that we do not know our companion's name," he explained as he turned to Roman. Roman blinked for a moment then gasped

"You are so right!" he cried loudly causing Logan to flinch at the volume. "We must remedy this!" he turned to leave but Logan cleared his throat

"Perhaps we can once the tent is folded," he suggested. Roman let out a sigh

"Fiiiinnnnee." he whined, "But only because we need to get on the road." Logan sighed in confirmation. He was confused why they had yet to encounter an enemy. For him, if he were the king he would scour the entire forest and area until the spies were found. The only enemy the group had run into was the one that attacked Patton. He followed Roman over to the tent and they reached it just as the stranger was exiting. He had one hand on his shoulder and the other was tapping nervously on his leg.

"Thank you for exiting the tent, we are almost ready to leave." Logan nodded to the man who gave a slight nod in response. "Are your wounds in any pain?" The stranger looked from Logan to Roman then back to the glasses-clad man. Logan noticed Roman was glaring at the other but didn't say anything. 

"N-not too badly." the man replied in a gruff voice. Logan could tell he hadn't used his voice in a long time. The man's voice also had another tone in it... an accent of some sort. 

"That is good, if you are in need of anything you may ask Patton. Patton is with the horses currently and has more experience with wounds than I do." Logan explained and watched as the man gave a nod. With that Logan and Roman emptied their things from the tent. While they had been occupied with other tasks Patton had cleared out his belongings and their breakfast. Once the items were removed from inside, taking down the tent was easy and soon they were almost done packing. 

"I-i-I know b-but..." Logan heard someone whispered and he glanced over at the stranger. He had his mouth open and was whispering softly to himself as if he were having a conversation with someone. Roman looked over and took Logan's wrist

"I told you something was off about him, he's talking to himself. He's crazy!" Roman hissed and Logan sighed

"There are many reasons why he could be talking to himself. It does not automatically make him "crazy" as you say. He has obviously been through a traumatic experience and people cope in different ways." Logan began to explain but Roman gave him a glare

"I didn't ask for a psychology lesson, calculator watch." he snapped. Logan scowled then pulled away from Roman

"Perhaps." he rolled his eyes "I will find Patton and then we can leave." He spoke coldly, leaving Roman behind to pack the tent into their saddlebags alone. All of their stuff was in the camp while Patton had taken the horses by their leads to get them water. Logan found the happy man standing ankle-deep in the water talking softly to the horses that stood next to him. Logan cleared his throat to signal he was there and Patton turned to him, giving him a large grin.
