A small boy laid on his back as the sun shone through green leaves. A soft breeze rustled past adding a soft rattle to the calm forest air as the leaves shook. The boy had brown hair and soft purple eyes that sparkled when he smiled.

"Virgil!" A voice called and he sat up with a laugh. He grabbed the flowers that he had gathered and ran towards the voice.

"Solile!" He cried as he moved deeper into the forest. He froze as a cold feeling grew around him and the wind grew stronger "Solile!" He cried, spinning around. His breathing began to speed up and he found it was becoming harder and harder to breath. "S-sol..." He gasped out

"Wake up." A strong voice echoed through his head and Virgil snapped awake from the nightmare. He groggily looked around at his surroundings. He was in a small area, made of  grey stone. He glanced down at his cold feet to see he was standing in mud up to his ankles. He looked up to where the sky should have been but found the grey stone continued to spiral up. Far above him he could barely make out a small sliver of light. He rolled his shoulders to ease the tension but found that he could barely move them. He was chained to the wall by his wrists which were hung above his head. He let out a long sigh and wished he could go back to the green trees and blue sky in his dream. As sleep left him he remembered where he was. He was in an old well. He had been there for three years. He closed his eyes as he felt his heart sink. He always had hoped that a prince or a knight or someone would save him but no one came. After all no one would save a dragon witch.
