-_- -_- Virgil's Point of View -_- -_-

Virgil drummed his fingers on the saddle as he sat waiting for Logan and Patton to return. If it had been up to him, he would never have let them enter the city. He stared at the gates where the black and blue banner waved and he scowled. He knew the crest on the flag was an eye, a dragons' eye. He was very familiar with it. He used to wear it before he belonged to the king. He shuddered as he remembered what it was like to work under the Baron.

"Stop that." Roman hissed at him from where he stood next to the horses. He was leaning up against a tree and also staring at the city gates. Virgil glared at him but didn't stop drumming. He was doing his best not to spiral. Logan and Patton were only supposed to go in, buy the stuff and leave. They were taking way too long. "Hey, Brad Pitiful. Knock it off." Roman snapped a little louder. Virgil rolled his eyes at the nickname

"Sorry, no can do Romeo." he snapped back but froze as he turned his gaze back to the city. He gripped onto the saddle tightly and clenched his jaw. A large group of soldiers were blocking the gates and Virgil could make out a large man on a horse.

"Thank you." Roman huffed, crossing his arms "That wasn't so har-"

"Roman." he spoke softly, cutting off the knight. The man rolled his eyes

"What?" he growled and Virgil pointed to the gate. Roman followed the direction and his mouth fell open "No." he gasped as he pushed off the tree he had been standing by "No." he began to rush towards the gate and Virgil's eyes widened

"Roman wait!" he called as he scrambled off the horse and rushed after him. He reached out and caught Roman's arm tightly, stopping the knight halfway to the gate.

"Let go of me!" Roman shouted as he tried to pull away

"Roman we can't rush in, there's too many guards!"

"I don't care! I can't just sit by and-" Roman protested as he tried to force his way onwards, Virgil cut him off

"Roman could you just listen-" Virgil begged as he frantically pulled Roman back away from the gate but Roman yelled "no", cutting him off

"You're just saying that because you don't care about them!" Roman shouted as he suddenly spun around and shoved Virgil to the ground. He landed on the ground hard and he looked up at Roman in shock. "They're my friends!" he yelled out loudly. Virgil blinked up at the knight as he tried to stay in the present. His heart was beating quickly and his breathing began to pick up as he was transported back to the Dark castle. He cowered away from Roman instinctively and covered his head with his hands. He shook with fear as he prepared for the next blow. Roman glanced back at the city gates in time to see the guards retreat into the city then he looked down at Virgil and groaned.

"Crap." Roman spoke as he saw the state that Virgil was in. It had taken less than a minute for the man to revert back to when they had first met. Roman knelt down next to Virgil and gently reached out "A-Anxiety, I'm sorry. I... I didn't mean to scare you." he cooed as he took Virgil's hands gently. Virgil flinched hard and yanked his hands out of Roman's grip.

"N-No, please don't." Virgil gasped in between quick breaths of air as tears began to roll down his cheeks. His hands slid into his hair and he began to tug at it as he tried to think. His thoughts were swirling and he felt like he was drowning. Roman began to panic as he looked for something to calm the man down. He pulled his cloak off his shoulders then draped it over Virgil, covering his head with the hood. Virgil felt the weight of the cloth on his back and he took in a longer shuddery breath.

"Um, can you tell me five things you can see?" Roman asked softly as he crouched down next to him. Virgil's gaze was distant for sometime, his tears slowly dried up. Roman shifted where he sat, worried the other hadn't heard him but he paused as Virgil lifted his gaze slowly
