Tee

(Before my bed, the silver moonbeams spread

I wonder if it is the frost upon the ground

I see the moon so bright when raising my head

Withdrawing my eyes my nostalgia comes around

The breeze kisses the branches, flirt heart

Love from day to night

It’s unforgettable for a long time.)

I can’t figure out what exactly roused me from my blissful slumber

I can’t figure out what exactly roused me from my blissful slumber. Was it the bittersweet Chinese song playing on the TV? Modern flat screen mounted on the wall is still flickering without an audience in the semi dark room. Or could it be my aching body? I ached everywhere from the left ankle to my ribs and knees to somewhere deeper inside my lower back.

Then the last night flashed across my mind.

It finally happened. We finally made love. I’m no longer a married virgin.

I bit my lips in shyness remembering every little detail yet winced in pain because my mouth is too tender – bruised from his kissing.

My stomach flipped at the memory of him biting my lower lip, while thrusting deep inside me. Thousand butterfly wings activated inside my belly, rising goose bumps along skin. I wrapped my arms around my bare torso.

I know I’m naked under the cover and I believe he is too.

Slowly, I rolled my head.

He’s sleeping peacefully under the cover - one hand thrown above his head, the other lying flat on his stomach.

I scooted closer, pressed my cheek against his warm bare shoulder and sighed. I love the way he smells – masculine and intoxicating.

Flowers bloom and fall

Alone like a dream

Drunk – drunk – drunk

I sing to wine alone

Drunk – drunk – drunk

I sing to wine alone

I inhaled deeply with a smile. I really love this song. It’s so hauntingly beautiful and erotic. I’ll have to try it out on my piano later.

“I love you, P’Tae,” I mumbled, turning my face and brushing my lips over his scorching skin.

P’Tae made a sound under his breath in his sleep, rolled onto his side and encased me in his warm embrace.
