A/n- Hi guys!
So I know that some of you want Tae to suffer more and Tee to give him more hard time. Some expect more angst.
When I planned this book with my friend this was supposed to be a short cute fic – how Tae and Tee fall for each other gradually. Tee is mild mannered. Tae is an oblivious fool. So technically, fewer complications, tension, and angst. I didn't even think I could write 20 odd chapters. But now we're almost at the end. One more chapter plus an epilogue, I'm hoping. So enjoy my lovelies.Tee
"P'Tee!"
Bas yelled from over the stream. He's practically in the middle of the bubbly, rushing water, wet and knee-deep.
"I caught five!"
He lifted a clear plastic bag ballooned with water and showed it to me.
Getting up from the flat stone I was laying on, I strolled close to examine what he had done.
"Show me?" I stepped carefully on the slippery rocks at the edge of the water.
He had managed to catch a few fish – small, unremarkable fish that usually live in streams.
"Great!" I touched my fingertips to the water-filled bag. A five or so little fish circled inside the water bag in panic. "Don't kill them!" I cautioned looking at their captor. His shorts are completely drenched and covered in dirt. "And be careful, the rocks are slippery." He's a growing boy with too much energy. Can't expect him to sit in one place all day and learn lessons.
Bas nodded, tying up the bag of water with fish inside.
I carefully went back to where I was idling under the shade of a large mimosa bush. We've been traversing in the forest since after lunch. We collected wildflowers and used stems from grass to make garlands to wear on our heads and wrists. That was a fun game we used to play as kids. Even though I'm a grown-up now, I still had fun with Bas.
Bas of course got distracted by the stream running through the Piniwat forest. He likes to play in the water, with pebbles and fish. I guess since my marriage, no one had allowed him to come to the forest by himself. There's nothing to worry about anyway because we never got lost here. It's impossible for a Piniwat to get lost in the forest surrounding the manor.
Throwing my arms up over my head, I sprawled on the flat boulder – not a comfortable place to sleep on. Yet, the soft humming of the forest life, the wind flirting with the greenery is lulling me asleep.
Through my closed eyelids I see red. When I open them I see the clear blue sky. Not a cloud in the wide expanse of azure.
"Khun Nuuuu!"
I lifted my hand and placed my left wrist upside over my eyes. I want to look at the beautiful sight yet the glaring sun hurt my naked eyes.
"Khun Nuuuu......"
