I'm sitting in front of my dressing table getting my hair fixed to wed a man I've not even spoken a single word to.

I met him briefly at the engagement ceremony. All I remembered was that he was a tall, scary-looking man with tanned skin. It's been six months since the engagement but he hadn't even paid a single visit to see me. Is he unhappy to marry me?

I've asked around the domestic staff since they have their own grapevine network and the best gossip in the mafia world.

"Oh, Khun Tee, I've heard that he's a very dedicated worker."

"He managed to bring the Kreepolrerk house lots of respect through hard work. Unfortunately, it made him a ruthless man."

"I've heard that he's really brutal when it comes to handling business."

"Oh, he's really handsome Khun Tee. How lucky you are."

"The word is that he likes it really rough in bed, too."

The last part made my heart skip a beat. Thinking about that makes me break into cold sweats every time.

"Don't fidget Khun, you're smudging the eye makeup," the makeup artist grumbled.

I closed my eyes and braced myself. My stomach felt queasy because I haven't eaten since last night. My hunger had drained away as the hour of auspicious came closer. I haven't uttered a single word to anyone about this. I'm too shy.

"Are you ready, Tee?"

"Are you ready, Tee?"

I turned my head to find my half-brother Kamnan's lover, the man who took care of me since I was a child, P'Paris, waiting at the door. He had a pleasant smile on his lips. I rose to my feet and ran my trembling hands down my suit.

"Ohh.. look at you." He held my shoulders and gave me an appreciative once over. "My little prince, Tee." He pinched my cheeks. "Why aren't you smiling, love," He ran his hands down my shoulders. "Are you nervous?" I nodded trying to smile a little.
