Previously: And falling asleep without waiting for an answer. Seems this had exhausted her. Avora decided to sleep on her bed. She reminisced until she fell asleep into the dream realm.

We Continue...

------------------------------------------------------------

The morning came and Avora had woken up abruptly due to a recurring dream. She peered over to her left and had seen Eva asleep still. She wanted to pay her back somehow for her hospitality so she had stretched her aching bones and walked to the kitchen softly. As she approached the kitchen she thought to herself, "hm, what would she want to eat?" She sat on the chair nearest to her and just daydreamed of her old life before she had come here. Everything had clicked in. She knew exactly what to make Eva. Some pancakes, with some bananas on top drizzled with some syrup. Her stomach growled at the thought but Eva came first.

Evangeline woke to the smell of food, it had always been her favorite way to wake up. She slowly yawned and sat up, her hair decided to betray her today. So, therefore, she looked like a cotton ball. "Mmm... What's Cookin good-looking." She was still slightly asleep and more dumb than usual. Stretching as she climbed outta bed. Full-on stretching splits and everything. As well as going into about 50 sit-ups before heading to the table. It had been her morning routine so she couldn't cut it out. She needed to constantly improve. She rubbed her eyes. Opening them a bit more. "Pancakes..." She couldn't help but do a small happy dance pulling Avora into a hug. "Thanks, Vora you're too sweet!!"

"Hey now, don't want you to get burnt." She said in a weird country accent. She giggled at the sight of the poof that was on her head. "You sure do sleep in, don't you?? You weirdo." "I guess that's me just being old." She stuck out her tongue and did a purposely a hissy laugh. "In my mind is my favorite place to be." She says with a smile. "Yeah not surprised, you've always been old." She said, placing a hand on Avoras head in a sleepy haze and patting it. "You're small." She said in a bit of a dragging tone.

Avora gently bonked Evans' head with a touch of her fingers. "Respect your elders, Missy!" She said playfully after setting down Eva's plate. "Sit down. You've been moving enough. You need a break every now and then." Evan smiled a sheepish grin. "Ok fine I'm going." And she sat down. Not too long before quickly eating the food. "Thanks for breakfast." "Exactly. That's what I thought." Avora smirked. "Wonder what today is going to be like." She continues to scrounge for some food because she doesn't really like pancakes all too much.

"There's not too much food left. If you want there's a Costco. We can stop there on the way to find my brother's gun." Evangeline said as she put her plate in the sink. She just pulled her hair back into a ponytail, too lazy to comb it. She yawns slightly. "Sounds fine by me. Whatever helps." As she walks away from the empty cabinets, she continues to stretch openly. She ends up making this weird scratchy noise along with it. Evangeline giggles. "Damn." Avora giggles back. "Let's do this !!"

"Of course," Evan says in a firm manner. Opening the door from her apartment and guiding Avora down and out into the Sacramento streets. "We should probably get you a weapon as well." She said as she stuffed her hands into her pockets. "But it's not that urgent, it's not a zombie apocalypse or anything." "With how you described things, it sounds pretty urgent to me." Avora looked around. The streets are still empty as ever. "I could just use my fists but, I don't think the people here play nice." "I haven't been attacked by anyone outside a game. People aren't just killing to kill I think." She knew she was being naive. And didn't really believe what she herself was saying. She hops from one leg to another. "Wanna jog with me? I'm tryna build up my stamina."

"Yess. I'll jog with you." Avora puts a pip in her step and begins to gain some speed. "It's just crazy. Everything here seems so ..altered." Avora noticed a look of determination and worry on Eva's face. She wondered how long she had been here and even wondered how of all people, she's the one trapped here in this hell. "Is this some kind of punishment..?" Whatever it was, she still kept jogging alongside Eva until they reached their destination. "I don't think so.." god she hated running. "A lot of good things have happened here, it's not completely hopeless. She said in a sort of reverie of her past here. Since this is where most of it had taken place.

"Wow. Haven't seen one of these in ages." Her face gleamed with excitement. She looked in awe and continued walking toward the building in front of them. Then she opens the door to the Costco. Atokaru and Evangeline's blanket and pillow are still next to each other. Man did she miss him, she would have to check on him later. "Here we are. Take whatever you need Vora." She said as she held the door open for her.
