Previously: She closed her eyes and fell asleep and tried to make herself believe that one day, he would wake up again. One day.

The funny thing was that she had prepared a bunch of things for when she died first. She had been so sure it would have been her. And the longer she pondered this the more it seemed ironic since she was almost positive he hadn't left anything for her either. Now she knew she would die alone. After waking up she gets a shovel.

And she digs and digs and digs. Then she goes and finds flowers. And pads the grave with them and gently places him inside. He would never kiss her again, or smile at her again. Though she could barely make out the smile on his face her heart calmed as she saw it.

But her throat burned with a lump in it. She then put flowers in his hair and in his hands. He had never said I love you back, she never got to argue and tell him how she felt. And with a broken heart and soul she put the dirt back over the grave. He had promised he wouldn't give up and he would keep fighting that night at the zoo.

But he went right into the fire when he couldn't handle it and threw his life away. Without so much as a goodbye. Hell he didn't even know it was her when he was dying. They'd never even taken a picture together, as far as she was concerned there was no proof they'd ever crossed paths except for the witnesses they'd talked to and met along the way. And she tossed the dirt over the top with a heavy heart.

"Really Tantan, not even a note?" She said as she threw the shovel. She'd left the grave unmarked but she put flowers on the top. She didn't want anyone to know who it belonged to and tried to deface it. She walked away and back up to her room. Laying down in the empty dark room.

Next to the books that he'd been "studying" before he left and died. And she stared at them. And though she wanted to sleep, the pain kept her awake. Avora was immediately shook by what had happened and at that point. She didn't really know how to feel about him passing on, she had no empathy for him whatsoever.

She had no reason to after all, never really knew the guy and didn't need to. She tries to go upstairs to comfort Evan. She feels bad because she's been so distant lately, the least she could do is show support. She truly needs it. She took the stairs and reluctantly walked up afraid she may say something stupid but continued nonetheless.

She lightly tapped on the door, "Hey ..if you need anything I'm here. I'm really sorry, really really sorry about today Evan. You didn't deserve today." She continued to head inside the room and she looked over to see her face. Her heart sank. It was evident how hurt she was. It looked as if she could explode in tears at any moment.

"Hey, Eva." She lightly touched her shoulder which slowly formed into a snug hug. She sighed deeply as she hugged Eva. "I'm so sorry .." She let herself be hugged.

But the smile she had been wearing the past few weeks was gone now and the light in her eyes had completely dissipated. She looked dead herself. And she just stared at the pile of books as she was being hugged, like a lifeless doll. And she didn't dare to speak for fear of her voice breaking again. If they'd had one more day, what would it have been like?

She didn't dare to threaten herself with the idea of happiness. It might usher her to take her own life and go see if there really is a heaven and hell. Go see if she might be able to find him again. She buried her face into Avora's shoulder as her eyes welled up again. "Please."

She croaked, her voice had been run down by yelling and cursing and crying. "Save me." And her body was shaking and she realized that she would never fall in love again. She didn't intend to anyway, no one could replace him. And right after she passed out from lack of sleep and pain in her wrist and the rip in her heart, losing consciousness in Avora's arms.

Her hand still reached the books. Avora teared up as Evangeline passed out. Her voice shifted into a motherly tone, "I'll save you, that's for sure. Even if it means trading my own sanity for the sake of your own." She whispered softly. She didn't want to move her so she decided to let her rest where the books had laid.

She took a blanket and wrapped her in it so she can bask in the warmth instead of feeling the bare coldness. Evangeline looked like she was carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders even as she wasn't even conscious. It was honestly the most pain she had been in. And it seemed her left hand was broken or fractured from the trash bin.
