And as the fire died and her smile fell, she had a new feeling in her heart. Though the pain that resided there would never leave a new sense of purpose prospered there. She had to do something she knew. She couldn't risk even a day of being unprepared. So she went up to her room and pulled a book from the pile.
Anatomy, which muscle does what. How does the body function? What is the weakest part of the body? What parts of the body would be painful but not truly cause damage if they were removed. And as she read she stretched, though every now and again the pain in her chest would get worse and she would have a spout of sadness out of the blue.
Having to put the book down. But it was all worth it in the end. Evangeline makes her way back down the stairs, shifting the golden ring around on her finger. She had taken it off him before burying him. It was intended to be a thing to remember her by if she died but we all know how that turned out.
She walked back up to Avora, hoping to make amends. But as she walked down her anxiety kicked in and she decided to check the cabinets. Realizing they were already pretty short on water. And after taking a deep breath she walked out. It felt good to feel the breeze again.
Bones finally wakes up in the street, trying to stand... though he's unable to stand because of his knees. He just sits there, trying to find something to patch up the wound in his side.
