Atokaru finally wakes up, taking a moment to look around at his surroundings to clear his senses. She leans on the wall outside, out of breath. Evangeline had never been one for running. Not quite sure why she decided to try it now. She sat on the ledge outside of the Costco.

Just taking in the clear air. There was no more reason to take anything for granted. After a while, Atokaru decides to walk around the store, just examining all of the stock once more. He hadn't noticed that Evan was outside yet. She pulled her legs into her chest deciding she would go back inside in about 5 minutes.

She was hungry and tired again. What sounds good to eat she thought.  He eventually started examining the food. He felt hungrier as he looked at it... but he couldn't bring himself to grab anything. She got up and leaned on the building again.

Thinking about what Tantan might want to eat. Maybe she could learn his favorite food to make for him sometime. She didn't know why but she felt an urge to just protect him, he seemed oddly vulnerable to her yet guarded. She frowned. "Ayo Tantan, what's your favorite food?"

She shouted as she walked back into Costco. He jumped a little as Evan shouted, though he's quick to regain his composure. "I'm.. not quite sure, actually." He calls back. He sounds noticeably weaker than before.

She walks up to him with concern in her eyes. "Are you ok?" "Hmm? Oh, I'm fine... Just a little tired, I suppose." He nods at Evan, as if he was reassuring her, before looking around some more.. and avoiding the food section. She believes him and nods.

"Do you have food that makes you happy every time you eat it?" She moves back to food. "I.. don't believe so. I can't say that I have a sort of comfort food." He spoke as he continued to look around, though he didn't wander too far away from Evan. "Well... is there nothing you have a taste for at the moment? And if you are tired then you can go back to sleep and don't feel like you have to stay awake for me."

Though she doubted that was the reason he was up. She was still kinda concerned, though she felt like she didn't have to be. But she couldn't not care. She started shunning herself mentally for getting attached so quickly. "Hmm... I suppose I just don't have an appetite at the moment. I'm probably just tired from just waking up..." He yawns quietly before subconsciously taking a knife from his set and examining it. She looks at him leaning on the shelf. "I guess..." She zones out looking out at him.

Just thinking.  She stays like that for quite a while. He doesn't seem to quite notice Evan zoning out. He has a weird feeling as if someone was watching him, though he tries to ignore it as he continues to examine the knife. Eventually, he puts it away and examines yet another knife from the set.

It seemed as if he was lost in thought... She snaps out of it. And blinks suddenly. "Do you like knives?" That was a bit straightforward. But it kinda just came out.

"Hmm? I.. suppose they have some sort of appeal." That was rather awkward, but he's just going along with it.  A small blush of embarrassment spread along her cheeks. "Nevermind, I'm gonna go make something to eat. Is there anything that you don't like?" She said quickly as she began speed walking away.
