Romeo had had a relatively easy life from an outsiders point of view. He lived in a big house, went to school and had decent grades, and he could have anything he ever wanted.
From an insiders point of view it was a very different story though, sure he lived in a big house and had decent grades but he was also living in a constant fear.
If he didn't get good enough grades his father would chastise him and tell him he wasn't good enough. His mother and father were always arguing too but somehow managed to keep up the happy family facade when they had the eyes of the public on them.
He was glad to have and excuse to get away from his house. His parents also were glad to say that they had a son in some exclusive school as it would bump
up their social standing, and at the end of the day. That's all they really cared about.
His parents of course dropped him off, they could hardly be seen not doing so, but couldn't have been quicker leaving as soon as he was out of the car.
