Chapter 1

I decided to leave. It wasn't good for me to be around people. I packed myself clothes, money and food and left. No one was home because my sister went to school and my parents worked. I left a note saying,

Dear family,

I can't be around people anymore. I'm too dangerous. Don't look for me. I'll be ok. Don't worry.

Love, Harry

I left a tear next to the note and left. I walked through the woods finding a new neighborhood. My friends tried to call and text me but I didn't respond. I dumped my phone and anything my parents could use to find me. I went to the city, hiding out in alleys, finding myself a home.

*Two Years Later*

It's been two years since I left home. I've been making a living by hunting and selling the skin. Each pelt made a lot of money so I didn't have to worry about selling a lot to survive. When I first left, I saw missing persons signs with my face everywhere. Nowadays I find one hidden behind many other recent ones.

Every full moon I turned. When I turned, I found the deer skins that I sold, eating the meat and keeping the skin. Sometimes when I wasn't careful, I attacked people.

Tonight was another full moon and I promised myself to be careful. It started to get dark and I found myself a place to stay. I hid my belongings and prepared myself. The sun was setting and I found my way into the woods. I walked and walked until I felt the familiar pain. My hands always felt it first, then my arms and legs. Once it hits my legs, I fell to the ground, screaming out in pain. I never got used to the feeling of every bone in my body cracking one after another. I felt all my fur grow and I darted through the woods.

I realized I was close to the border of the wooded area because I suddenly saw people. I jumped over a fence saw people run in fear of me. These woods were near a high school because everyone there looked like a teenager.

I ran past people trying to find my way back. Someone was in my way and I pounced on them. I saw it was a girl. She was dirty blond almost light brown hair. Her eyes were a golden hazel that sparkled in the moonlight. I couldn't see her smile because she looked scared. Then again who wouldn't be scared of a giant wolf that just tackled you?

I saw my claws were digging into her arms and my back paw grazing her thigh but close enough to scratch her. She was too beautiful to be hurt. I jumped off, scratching her stomach and ran back to the woods. Surely someone got a picture. I'd see it later.

I looked back, peering behind a few trees and she still laid there. Some people in scrubs picked her up and took her to an awaiting truck. I hurt her that bad that they had to call an ambulance? I ran back through the woods to find my stuff and a new place to call home.
