Chapter 13

*Harry's POV*

I sat inside, watching TV as Zayn's parents and sisters weren't home. I enjoyed my peace and silence

It started to get late and I took a shower, changing into my pajamas afterwards. When I went to grab a pair of boxers from my drawer, I smelled something different. Like more werewolves. I doubted it though. There couldn't be.

I sat back in the living room and watched some more TV, only in my black, Calvin Klein boxers. I saw Penny run out of the trees and Zayn hop down from her back. He ran inside and grabbed clothes for her. She grabbed the pile of material from his hands gently and disappeared back into the trees. Zayn came back inside and I greeted him.

"How was your run through the woods? Refreshing, right?" I asked. I always found running through the woods refreshing. It would always clear my mind. "Yea. Listen. Penny's gonna tell you something that I don't really understand so when she gets back, prepare for some news." Zayn warned. He went to the kitchen and grabbed a drink.

Penny came back a moment later, dressed in pajamas and stepped inside. "Harry. There is a major problem and I don't know what to do." she was panicking.

"What's wrong?"

"There's another pack! In the woods. Here. This bad. Not very good at all." she was freaking out from anxiety.

"What's wrong with more wolves? They could teach us stuff." I didn't see the point in her reaction.

"No. First off, I'm lucky I wasn't killed tonight. I was on their territory. They owned where we were. Which wasn't very far from here. Secondly, they will make us join them and we will have to leave. Thirdly if we don't, they could probably kill us or......" She started to break down and cry.

Zayn was right behind her so she could cry into his shoulder. "I don't even wanna think about what will happen." she whispered.

I was worried. What else would these kind of people do? "How many were there?" I asked. "About six." she said. She wiped a tear and Zayn kissed her forehead, wiping another tear.

"We can take them!" I encouraged.

"Your a dumbass Harry. Six on two? Think about it."

"I am. They will have to get through me if they ever wanna go for someone I love. I say, 'Bring it on!'"

Penny stared at me like I had two heads. "You. Are. Crazy!" "I'm just defending who I love."

"Dying in the process."

"Well it's damn worth it." It was silent for a while. "If she's safe, it's all the matters." I said. I ran upstairs and into bed. If they wanna kill me, they have to put up a fight. I'm not leaving her. Ever.

I woke up, meeting again with Alison in the morning. "Did you hear? Josh is moving out of town! His parents' job moved towns so we don't have to worry!" she exclaimed. I was so happy about that. I didn't have to worry about a cunt bag nagging me about how he would 'get her back.' As if she wanted him back.

I hugged her a spun her around. "Would you like to celebrate?" I asked.

"How would we enjoy ourselves this evening?" she asked. "Maybe, a dinner date? A movie?" I offered. "I know this is strange but how about mini golf?" she asked. I was surprised by her answer but I agreed.

"Mini golf it is." I said.

She giggled as the diet bell rang. We kissed and headed off. There were a few new students though. They all kept a stare on me as if I murdered someone. I went to lunch and I smelt around. I bumped into someone and they reeked of cologne. I could still catch a canine scent on them. I guess they were gonna stalk me here.

I sat down next to Alison and we were joined by the boys. Louis sitting next to me with the girl from the pole vault. Zayn was with Penny and Liam was next to Niall. Louis out his arm around me and asked, "So, what's up with you two," "Nothing." I said. I took a bit of my banana and he nudged me. "Sure. Nothing."

"Harry, have you bumped into anyone today? Did they reek of cologne?" Penny asked.

"Why?"

"Because that's how they disguise. It blocks our unique scent from other wolves." she explained.

I nodded. "I did. Why?" I asked. "Oh. Not good. Not at all." Penny started to panic again and Alison looked at me for an answer. I whispered to her that I would tell her later as Zayn started to calm Penny down.

"They are making sure I didn't lie about you. It's not good for people like us to be around humans. It's kind of like a law but its like jaywalking in New York. People do it anyway without getting in trouble." she explained with a, finally, calm demeanor.

"I've done it all my life."

"Others don't understand as easily as we do." she said.

"They should though." I muttered.

Lunch ended and after school, Alison asked what Penny and I were talking about at lunch. "Apparently she found a new pack. Well they found her. She was out and she wasn't warned about the pack. They asked about her and its supposed to be law that werewolves and humans live separate lives. That they don't interact." I explained.

She understood, surprising to my extent that she knew this much. "I know you know how a canine works but werewolves are completely different." I said.

I took Alison home and met up with Penny and Zayn at the house. I sat on the couch and started to doze off, slowly shutting my eyes.
