Chapter 20

*Louis' POV*

Ever since I met Marie, everything has been perfect. I left Harry and Zayn to their 'werewolf' business and hung out with her. We've been dating for two months, two perfect months.

*Flashback*

"Good luck." Harry said as he patted my back. He stepped down the bleachers to meet up with Alison. They have something that I've always dreamed of having. They were so cute together. I was about to get my own happy ending.

Well, beginning if you please.

I walked closer to where the pole vault side of the field was, watching as she sat with a friend, critiquing the other people. I watched as her brown hair flowed on her shoulders, straight and soft. I couldn't see from here but I knew here eyes were a beautiful jade green mixed with brown. She laughed at something her friend said, it was light and so cute. I wanted to be the cause of that laugh.

She looked to the bleachers and quickly hid, falling on my back and laying so the seat was blocking me.

I couldn't have her see me. It would be embarrassing. People know I'm by desperate when it comes to girls. I was smooth and girls came to me. Like Eleanor, she desperately asked me out. After about five times I said yes and I really started to like her. She moved to America, somewhere in Oregon, and we broke it off. I got over her quickly and then I met Marie.

I checked to see if I was clear and I saw her looking at the other student, who had terribly executed the jump. She started to criticize the other person, telling them about how they should do this and that. I couldn't hear her but I could tell she was being harsh.

That was extremely sexy.

The coach called for them to leave, gathering all the materials for practice to bring them back to the storage shed. Marie helped with all of the poles, carrying them on her shoulders on both her arms. She walked with one of her friends. I rushed down the stairs, hoping to catch her attention before she left.

I was scared about this, nervous too. She was perfect. I feared the rejection. I was expecting it too. People always told me not to worry when asking girls out. That they'd fall for me anyways. Not this girl. As I knew why.

She hates me. With all her guts and probably the next guy's guts too. I don't know why but she did. We worked as partners for a biology project and she did all the work, making sure I didn't have any part. She included me into the work so I wouldn't get in trouble, and so she wouldn't have to deal with me.

I just wish I knew why.

I found her getting into her car, jetting off before I could get even a glance.

"Hey. You're Louis. Louis Tomlinson?" I turned to see a girl about my height, slim figure. Her blonde hair was curled loosely and she had fading pink dye on the tips of her hair. Her brown eyes were hidden by large glasses. She must have used contacts when she played.

"Yea. I am."

"Giuliana Foreman." She stuck out her hand for me to shake.

"Oh yea. Sorry. The glasses are throwing me off a bit. English right?"

"Yea. That last test was killing me. The stress and everything. I never read the book." I chuckled at her comment.

"Yea. Anyways, listen. I know that you were watching us."

The heat rose to my cheeks. I didn't think anyone saw me.

"And that you like Marie."

I starched the back of my neck, speechless over my little known secret. The only person who knew was Niall. I knew that I should have told Liam. Niall will say anything for food.
