Chapter 19

"Harry. I want you to heal her."

"What?" I asked. There was a girl that laid before me. She was unconscious, large scratches on her exposed stomach from wolf claws.

"Heal her." he demanded.

"I'm not a fucking doctor." I stated.

"Harry. You don't know?" he asked.

I shook my head. "You had a gift. It came with your other half. Like Addison and Dakota. They have certain gifts that came with their wolf side. Like you."

"I have a gift, a special talent and I don't know what it is. But you do?" I asked.

He nodded. "What is it?"

"Have you ever sung before? For injured people or anyone?" he asked.

"I'm not really the singing type."

"Well pick something, try it out."

I though of a song and Drops Of Jupiter by Train came to mind. I took it slower than its meant to.

"Now that she's back in the atmosphere

With drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey

She acts like summer and walks like rain

Reminds me that there's time to change, hey, hey

Since the return from her stay on the moon

She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey

Tell me did you sail across the sun

Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded

And that heaven is overrated

Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star

One without a permanent scar

And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there"

As I sang, I closed my eyes. I finished and saw that her scratches were perfectly healed. As if it never happened. I was astonished at myself. I could do that?

Jay smiled at me. "Thank you."

"That's it then?" I asked. He nodded and I walked out, surprised that I wasn't needed for more than my voice. I found Liam waiting in the main room and he started to bombard me with questions. "Calm down Liam. There's someone in there that was hurt and I healed her. I had no clue I could do that."

"I never found out about my power until I used it. I can control feelings. Make the atmosphere calm or make someone fume with hate. Anything like that." Dakota explained.

"My lucky boyfriend."

"That's right." he said. They kissed in front of me and I yelled at them to get a room. They laughed and I asked them to walk me back home, since I had no clue where I was going.

We walked through the woods, having Liam follow Zayn's scent. When we got back, Liam and Dakota stayed behind the bushes while I peered over the shrubbery to see Zayn and Penny. Penny saw me and ran to me, enveloping me in a large hug that cut off my air supply.

"Penny. Can't. Breathe." I finally said. Zayn followed after her, taking me in a very tight hug and then smacking me. "What was that for?" I asked.

"For making us worry. I thought something bad would happen to you."

I looked back at Liam and I gestured for them to come out.

"Liam?!" Penny and Zayn asked simultaneously as him and Dakota stepped out, hand in hand.

"Liam. You're a..-"

"Yes Zayn. I am." he finished.

"It's like you can read minds Li." I stated.

"Well..." he trailed, a light blush heating his cheeks.

"You can?" I asked. Liam nodded as if he surrendered to my question war, letting his head hang as Dakota rubbed his back with a smile.

"Does your father know?"

"No. I wanna keep this to myself. He'd probably use it for his own good."

"Alright. It's just between all of us then." I confirmed.

"So why'd they need you?" Penny asked.

"I needed to heal someone. Apparently, I have a power. Special only to myself" I answered.

"That's really cool. Here, try it." Penny offered.

I saw she had a cut on her arm from something. I started I sing random notes, watching the cut disappear.

"That's cool." Zayn admitted.

"I had no clue it was possible." I stated.

"I'm just happy that they didn't hurt you." Penny hugged me again with care.

"Do you think it could work with scars?"

"Why?"

"I have an idea. But I need Alison."

On Monday, I vowed to get her to understand. I walked around the school, hoping to catch her glance. It was five minutes before the first bell and I was desperately running. Shouting her name left and right.

"Harry?"

It was Alison.

I saw her turn the corner of the hallway. She looked to me with tears. I couldn't read her very well. I didn't know if she was going to run from me to me. If she was scared or had the courage to be near me, even though I've her hurt before.

I was shocked yet understanding when she ran away me. She turned the corner, out of my view, and I followed. She ran out of school grounds and down the street. I hadn't caught up to her, even running with my inner wolf. I guess we being in track came in handy when it came to me.

I called out to her and she kept running.

She made it to an epmty street, no cars around.

She was right at the crosswalk.

I was at the other end of the block, behind her, seeing her stop at the corner to check how far I was.

I started to make my way to her and she ran, not seeing what was coming at her.

"Alison! No!"
