Seven months later

Emily was currently juggling a lot of things at once, cutting up fruit, checking to see if anyone was here on the cameras outside, and having to watch their two boys run around outside.

"Mom!" Declan yelled as he and Henry swam to the edge of the pool.

"Mom is busy!" Emily yelled back.

"It's an emergency!" Declan yelled. Emily immediately dropped what she was doing and ran outside to the backyard.

"What? What happened?" Emily asked in a panic. Declan held up a lizard as he smiled innocently. "What the fuck is that, and why are you smiling like that?"

"It's a lizard," Declan said happily. "Can we keep him?"

"Are you going to take care of it?" Emily asked and placed her hands on her hips. "Because you know I don't do slimy things that crawl and shed. I already have two of you."

Declan frowned as he let go of the lizard that just stayed put. Emily caved as the boy had the lizard climbing on his hand. Henry was giggling as it crawled on top of his hand next.

"Okay fine. But you're buying everything to keep it alive," Emily said and shook her head. She walked back into the kitchen when JJ walked in with the cake. She was wearing short shorts and a crop top that immediately caught Emily's attention. "Well, hello."

"Hi," JJ said as Emily walked up to her and embraced her in a kiss. Her hands were shamelessly traveling south until JJ placed her hands on top of hers. "Naughty. Keep your hands to yourself."

"Yes, ma'am," Emily said and smiled widely as Emily kissed her gently. JJ pulled away and swatted Emily's butt as she walked by.

Both women continued making fresh lemonade since it was July and felt like the sun was only centimeters from their skin. Both JJ and Emily had finally settled on a house in July. Five bedrooms, four-bathrooms, two-story house in a cul-de-sac. Thanks to a generous gift from Rossi, the two could put the down payment on the house. It had everything the two wanted, well, for the most part. Emily and JJ agreed to have a custom pizza oven built outside. But, it had a pool with a large driveway for parties like this one and was large enough for their family, so they didn't mind having to spend a little more money on the addition.

This was their house warming party, along with being gracious hosts for Spencer and Elle, as today was also their baby shower. Emily and JJ didn't even hesitate to offer their house to be the host. And they took care of everything except for alcoholic drinks and side dishes.

Elle specifically asked no one to bring potato salad or else she'd be puking the entire time. The smell of mustard now in her final months of being pregnant made her sick to her stomach.

Being the hosts, JJ and Emily also organized the sex reveal. Both were biting their tongues as they knew the sex of their baby but tried to keep it a secret. They were excited for the two.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"It's open!" JJ yelled as she and Emily finished placing out everything. Their house was painted with pink and blue decorations.
