Aaron: "I think people would be happier if they admitted things more often. In a sense we are all prisoners of some memory, or fear, or disappointment—we are all defined by something we can't change." Simon Van Booy.

Three weeks later, JJ woke up to the smell of something cooking in the kitchen. She looked around her bed and didn't find the splash of black hair that she usually found. The blonde woman got up and made her way down the stairs.

"Ready? One. Two. Three. Flip," Emily said as she struggled to flip the pancake. Henry was sitting on the counter and giggling as Emily's pancake was slightly broken. Garcia hid her laughter behind her coffee mug.

"You suck at this," Declan said and chuckled. Emily just squinted her eyes. JJ stood against the wall and just watched his sight for a little longer. Her cover was blown by Shadow coming up the stairs and trying to walk through JJ's legs like she usually did every morning.

"Well, look at who's up late," Emily said and smiled. JJ walked down the stairs with Shadow.

"Good morning, honey bunches," Penelope said as JJ walked up to her and kissed her on the head.

"Good morning, my little family," JJ said and kissed both Declan and Henry on the head. The blonde woman walked behind her fiancé and kissed the back of her neck. Right on her new tattoo that the two lovers had gotten two weeks ago. "Good morning."

"Good morning," Emily said and smiled.

JJ's eyes looked down to Shadow, who was patiently waiting for a treat. Her eyes trailed over to the bag as JJ made her way to it. She grabbed a treat and put one finger up. Shadow immediately listened and sat down. "Oh, who's a good doggie? You are."

"The good doggie is getting treats by giving puppy eyes to mommy," Emily said and raised her eyebrows. JJ raised an eyebrow suggestively as the two boys and Penelope weren't paying attention.

"Mmm, we have a lot to catch you upon. So, I know you guys wanted to get married ASAP. So, I've been calling wedding venues. There is this lovely venue right off of K street that's sort of that mix of barnyard chic and shadowy mystery that the two of you represent," Penelope said and showed JJ the magazine. "It sits close to a hundred people, which I figured would be more than enough. Rossi is persistent in hosting the reception at his house once the ceremony is over. Which, I agree, except it would have to be inside the house because the weather is a pain."

"Are you being our wedding planner?" JJ asked and chuckled as she looked through the magazine that was filled with sticky notes. JJ laughed as she saw a sticky note that said 'if Emily was more colorful' on it.

"Did you expect differently? I have you know Clara, and I caught up Elle. Elle actually knows a guy who does wedding pictures. So we can have that out of the way," Penelope said and grabbed the magazine back from JJ. Declan just furrowed his eyebrows as Penelope showed him the suits Henry and him would wear.
