Crap!

Again, Hyunjin had bailed me out.

But if I'm honest, I was pretty glad that Hyunjin showed up. Without him, I probably would have been turned into dog food by Jackson and Mark. They had been after me all along and they were the ones who had beaten me up that time.

In front of Hyunjin I was always aggressive and never put up with anything but with the two of them I was scared to death every time. With Hyunjin I knew exactly that he would never hurt me. At least he hadn't until now.

He gets on my nerves, plays stupid tricks on me and says stupid things but he never hurt me.

Just as I was about to go back the teacher called out Hyunjin's name and he stopped.
"Hyunjin, Ms. Lee would like to talk to you."

Astonished, I looked over at the ferret and he looked at me for a moment. Immediately, I averted my gaze and disappeared behind the corner. But I didn't go further but hid behind it to eavesdrop on the two.

I didn't know myself what had just gotten into me but I really wanted to know what Ms. Lee wanted from him all the time.

"Did you talk to Seungmin?" I heard Ms. Lee's voice and my eyes widened.

What do I have to do with this?

"I haven't gotten around to it yet..." Hyunjin sighed and there was a short silence.
"Hyunjin, if your grades don't improve I can't let you go back to the dance club and you can't do that without tutoring. Seungmin is a really good student and I'm sure he'll help you."

Once again there was a dead silence and I heard footsteps coming my way. Immediately I pressed my body against the wall and saw Hyunjin walking with quick steps towards the school exit.

I realized what was the reason for his sudden change of club. Normally I would have made fun of it now but somehow I couldn't. I knew too well how much Hyunjin loved dancing and how he was as passionate about it as I was about making movies.

I felt more or less sorry for him at that moment and when I thought about it I still owed him something after the incident earlier. So I was in his debt, since he protected me from Jackson and Mark after all.

Perplexed, I sighed and then heard the familiar voice of Felix emerging from behind the corner.
"So this is where you are." Relieved, he exhaled and smiled at me.
"Sorry, got held up." I explained and Felix's eyebrows went up.
"Jackson and Mark." I only replied and Felix's eyes widened.
"Are you hurt?" Immediately he examined my entire face off and I carefully pushed his hands away from me.
"I'm fine." I laughed and Felix grabbed his heart in relief.
"Let's get back to class now. The break is already almost over."
Felix nodded and then followed me.

After the school day ended I quickly packed up my things to catch Hyunjin in time.
"Where are you going in such a hurry?" Felix eyed me critically and I just quickly said "I'll tell you later" and then disappeared from the classroom.

With quick steps I walked through the school corridor which was crowded with students. There was no sign of Hyunjin.

Stepping outside, I surveyed the schoolyard and looked for a blond-haired ferret.
I quickly found him but he wasn't alone.
Next to him was some girl from the lower class who had clung to him like a monkey. Minho was just standing next to him, watching with a disgusted look.

I slowly walked up to the three of them and stopped behind them.
"Hyunjin." I adjusted my backpack and he turned to me in surprise.
"What do you want?" Confused, he raised an eyebrow.
"I-" before I could say anything the bucket of paint interrupted me, coming between me and Hyunjin.
"Can't you see he's busy?" She hissed at me and I rolled my eyes in response.

I really wasn't in the mood for that kind of drama right now. I gave the bride another annoyed look and then turned away again.
"Hey Seungmin! What did you want to say?" Hyunjin called after me.
"Forget it." I shouted back without turning around and continued walking.

But before I could go any further someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me back slightly. I stopped and turned around. Across from me stood Hyunjin who eyed me with his brown eyes.
"So?" He raised an eyebrow and let go of me.

I exhaled deeply and then crossed my arms.
"I know why you changed clubs all of a sudden."

Hyunjin's face fell and he looked at me with surprised eyes. He quickly tried to regain his composure but he had already betrayed himself.
"I have no idea what you mean." He tried to talk his way out of it but I shook my head.
"I overheard you and Ms. Lee talking during the break." I explained to him and his expression remained unchanged.
"You got kicked out of the dance club because your grades are bad, isn't that right?" I hooked again and Hyunjin snorted.
"And if it were the case?" He seemed kind of pissed and I couldn't really explain why.

"I could tutor you." I offered without addressing his statement from earlier.
"I don't need your help." He returned bitingly and turned away from me.

Is he serious ?

"You'll never get better grades without me, though." I called after him and he stopped in response. He didn't say a word but kept his back to me.
"Let me hel-" before I could finish my sentence, Hyunjin came up to me with quick steps and grabbed me by the collar.
"Why would you help me, huh?" His eyes pierced me and I had to admit that his look really scared me.
"You helped me, so let me help you." I reasoned my offer and Hyunjin slowly let go of me.
He took a few steps back and seemed to be thinking.

"Tomorrow, 4:00 at Cafe Latte. If you don't show up, your loss." I raised my hand in farewell and then turned around without giving him a chance to say anything.

I offered to help him and the only thing he does is play the idiot.

Does he think I want to tutor him?
