Without really thinking, I pressed my lips to his and at that very moment, time seemed to stand still.

The only thing I was aware of was Seungmin's soft lips resting directly on mine and his grip on my t-shirt slowly loosening.

A pleasant tingling sensation spread through my stomach, causing my adrenaline level to soar.

Seungmin hesitantly returned the kiss and slowly placed his hands around my waist while I pressed my body closer and closer to his.

Our kiss became more intimate and passionate and the only thing I could hear was the loud beating of my heart.

Since we both slowly lacked the air to breathe we detached from each other. Seungmin's cheeks were now colored a light pink while his lips were slightly swollen from the kiss.

Damn he looked cute.

Carefully, I took his head in my hands and pressed my forehead against his.
"Can we scrap enemies and finally rename it lovers?" I whispered into the silence and Seungmin averted his eyes in shame.

He was really incredibly cute when he was embarrassed about something.

"You really are an idiot..." he muttered, punching me in the chest and I started laughing.
"So I'm not a stupid ferret anymore?"

"You are." he just replied and I couldn't help but wrap him in my arms. Immediately, that pleasant scent of him hit my nose again and I wanted to hold on to him as much as I could.

All these years we made each other's lives hell, hated each other and now here we are.

Just the thought made me smile and Seungmin seemed to notice.
"Why are you smirking?" slowly he broke away from my embrace and looked at me with a puzzled look.

I just shook my head and tousled his brown hair.
"Hey!" immediately he tried to fix his hair, but to no avail.

As if he was the most precious thing in the world, I just looked at him and couldn't take my eyes off of him.
Seungmin noticed my stare and immediately his cheeks turned a pinkish/red again, which made me grin.

Just as I was about to lean forward again, the door suddenly burst open next to us and an orange haired and black haired came into the room.

Immediately I jumped back from Seungmin and he looked quite perplexed as well.

Felix and Minho looked at both of us in turn and it looked like they were just realizing what they had just interrupted.
"AHHH!" like a squealing girl, Felix jumped on top of Seungmin and almost lost his balance.
"Hey watch it!" The brown-haired man easily pushed Felix away from him, who couldn't get out of his grin.

Minho had to grin as well and looked at me with waggling eyebrows while I just rolled my eyes.
"What are you guys doing here anyway." Seungmin freed himself from Felix's grip and eyed the two of them, looking at each other.
"Well..." Felix turned his gaze back to us and scratched the back of his neck. "We were worried that you two would eventually skin each other alive, so Minho and I just wanted to play it safe."

He crossed his arms and a grin played around his lips again.
"But it looks like we were wrong about that."

There was one brief silence until Seungmin smacked his best friend upside the head.
"Is that supposed to mean you thought I'd let that ferret get the best of me?" indignantly he crossed his arms and turned his head away in a huff as I looked at him in horror.
"What do you mean, mutt?" I put my hands on my hips and Seungmin gave me a scowl.

Third Pov.

While Seungmin and Hyunjin chased each other halfway across the dance room, Minho and Felix just stood there watching the whole scenario with amusement.
"Those two never change after all..." sighed Minho next to Felix with a slight laugh and the freckled boy agreed.

"Those two are and always will be the silly ferret and the biting mutt."
