As soon as Hyunjin was in the room, my mood went straight back down the drain.

His presence alone annoyed me and that just showed how much I despised him.

"You're what?!" suddenly Minho's voice rang out in the room and not quietly.

My eyes wandered to the left row forward where Hyunjin and Minho were sitting.
The teacher didn't miss the sudden shout either and gave the two a warning look.
I continued to stare at the two for quite a while as they were somehow whispering about something.

"What are you staring at?" Felix voice rang out next to me and he leaned forward slightly to follow my gaze.

"Nowhere." I shook my head and turned away, focusing on the tasks again.
The orange haired boy just laughed and then returned to his tasks as well.

I would like to know what the teacher wanted from Hyunjin. I wonder if he got in trouble.

Naah, I'm not interested in the prince's problems. Let him be expelled from school for all I care.

Fortunately for me, the teacher divided us into groups of four and of course I was in a group with Hyunjin.

My karma must have really hated me.

Felix, Minho, Hyunjin and I had to work together on a small experiment and I already had a bad premonition.

The bad-tempered idiot sat down across from me and gave me a snide look which I only returned.
"Just pull yourselves together for a few minutes, please." Minho asked, sitting next to Hyunjin and sighing heavily.

He was just as sick of all the bullshit as I was.

Felix didn't care much about the whole situation between me and Hyunjin and didn't interfere further since it was none of his business.

The experiment contained a detection reaction and the task was to prove whether the liquid was lime water.

Felix had already fetched all the important materials and placed them on the table. Hyunjin immediately reached for the white liquid and I deftly snatched it from his hand.
"What is this now?" confused and slightly irritated he raised both eyebrows and I held the glass high and far away from him

"The last time you touched something like that the whole room blew up." I reminded him of his clumsiness when it came to chemicals.

"He's right about that though." Minho confirmed my statement with a laugh and Hyunjin gave him a nasty glare.

"It's just a stupid liquid so give it to me!" in a flash he leaned forward again to snatch the test tube from my hand. Since I had reacted too slowly, he already had it in his hand and I pulled it back towards me hoping he would let go.

But he didn't even think about letting go and just kept tugging on that stupid glass.

Felix next to me went to a safe distance because he probably already had a bad premonition.

Since the whole thing was getting too stupid for me I simply let go of the glass and Hyunjin fell back into the chair. In the process some of the liquid spilled onto his pants.
"YAAAA!" immediately he pushed the test tube into Minho's hand and hopped around dramatically.

He was just a real drama queen.

He quickly walked towards the sink to clean his pants, muttering to himself the whole time.

Why didn't he just let go of that stupid glass?

After Hyunjin halfway cleaned up his pants he came back and sat down again, his gaze fixed on me.
"None of this would have happened if you hadn't let go of that stupid test tube!" the stupid ferret complained.

"You were the one who wanted it so bad, didn't you?" astonished by his logic I raised an eyebrow and he averted his eyes, knowing it was his own fault.

I ignored him and continued with the experiment. If he hadn't insisted, none of this would have happened. So I quickly finished the experiment together with Felix while Minho documented everything. Hyunjin, on the other hand, continued to play the offended kid and didn't take his eyes off me.

Can he finally stop staring so stupidly?

When the other groups had also finished their experiment, everyone went back to their seats.
"What an idiot!" I muttered to myself and Felix started laughing next to me. I didn't quite understand what was funny just then and looked at him with a confused expression on my face
"What's so funny?"

"People could really think you are a couple at odds." my best friend shook his head and I hit him on the head with my notebook.
"We are not!" I hissed and Felix raised his hands defensively.

Whoever marries this guy later will have the worst time of his life - that's for sure.

The rest of the school day I tried to avoid Hyunjin as much as possible. Therefore, I was looking forward to the club activities even more because I didn't have to see him there at least for 2 hours.

"He's driving me crazy!" I got upset about the stupid ferret and Felix looked at me with a little smirk which I could see in the corner of my eye.

"I really don't understand why you guys don't just put this whole thing behind you. Was there ever a reason for it?" hooked Felix and looked at me questioningly, while we just walked down the hall.

Felix had never known the reason why we actually hate each other. If I'm honest, I didn't even know why Hyunjin hated me so much or why he couldn't stop getting on my nerves.

For me, however, my hatred for him was more than justified. After all, it was him who had left me behind, lying on the floor beaten up. If he had helped me I wouldn't have had to go through the whole thing.

"There is a reason... and that is that Hyunjin is just an idiot" that was the answer I gave to Felix's question and I put my hands in my pants pocket.

Now that we had our club activities Felix and I said goodbye in the school hallway before we both went in different directions.

He to the dance club room and I to the movie club room.

Once there I was already greeted by Joengin, Hyunjin's little brother. He was one grade below us and was the only Hwang I liked because he wasn't such an idiot like Hyunjin.

"Did you hear that we're getting a new one in our club?" the younger one jumped around joyfully and I looked at him in wonder for a moment.
"Since when did you know?" I hooked and Joengin stopped his joyful movements.
"Haven't you been told?"

I just shook my head and the black-haired one nodded in understanding.

Just as I was about to put my things down I heard the door open behind me. Joengin turned around and I could see his confused and shocked look.

I also turned around and looked at the open door where a blond-haired boy was standing, pulling a face like three days of rainy weather.

My jaw dropped and I looked speechlessly at our new addition.
"Ferret?!"
