"You're doing what?!" shocked, Minho looked at Hyunjin who had just announced that he was going back to the dance club.

Felix was also puzzled, although he was the one who had even guessed it first.

I just sat there silently, looking at my empty plate.

What had I expected? He had every right to go back but on the other hand I was also a little disappointed.

Since I didn't have to tutor him anymore and he wasn't in the club now there was no real reason to hang out anymore. We were classmates but I didn't really know if we were friends at all.

I hated this ferret but on the other hand I didn't want us to distance ourselves again like we did back then.

I was so used to having this idiot around that I couldn't imagine that soon he wouldn't be anymore.

"My grades have improved a lot thanks to Seungmin." his eyes met mine and he gave me a smile which I found hard to return.

"And besides, I'm much better at dancing than acting." He added and leaned against his chair.

"Well, you weren't that bad. On the contrary." Felix tapped his fork against his lips and looked up thoughtfully.
"He's got a point, you were really pretty good." Minho agreed with Felix's statement and crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"Besides, now we have to put up with you again." Minho added with a laugh, conceding a sleep against Hyunjin's upper arm in return.
"Very funny."

After the break ended, Felix and I went back to the classroom while Minho and Hyunjin made a quick trip to the dance club since Hyunjin had to put his stuff away again.
"You don't look too happy about Hyunjin switching clubs somehow." Felix looked to me as we walked down the hallway and I stopped.
"What makes you think that?" played confused I raised an eyebrow, even though I knew for a fact he was right about that point.
"Oh come on Minnie, you can't fool me. I can see exactly how much you care about him." he walked up to me and tousled through my hair. Annoyed, I removed his hand from me and put my hands in my pants pocket.
"Yeah, maybe you're right." that was the only thing I said in response to his statement and kept walking while Felix followed me.
"Not maybe - I'm right." a proud grin spread across his face and I just sighed in annoyance until a slight smile formed on my lips as well.

I really cared about Hyunjin. Although I did not know when exactly this had happened but it happened.

But since I knew for a fact that Hyunjin definitely didn't feel the same way, it didn't really get me anywhere. After all, he's been so weird to me lately and I rather have the feeling that he wants to get rid of me.

Why else would he suddenly change clubs without telling me first?

After the school day came to an end we said goodbye to each other while Hyunjin made his way to the club room.

Felix, Minho and I walked to the school exit and somehow I couldn't get rid of this strange feeling inside me.

Something told me that I should go back to Hyunjin and finally talk to him openly and honestly.
Nervously, I bit my lower lip and Felix seemed to notice.
"What's wrong with you?" he stopped and looked at me in wonder as I sighed heavily.

"Hyunjin." that was the only thing I said and I saw the corners of Felix's mouth slowly go up.
"It's now or never." he patted me on the shoulder and I looked at him with wide eyes. I knew exactly what he meant and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Did I miss anything?" Minho stood by us and looked at both of us with a confused expression on his face, while Felix shook his head.
"I think our Minnie here has some business to attend to." my orange haired friend gave me a quick smile and before I could think further, my body was already moving.
"Go for it!" Felix called after me still laughing and I made my way towards the club room.

I was tired of this insurmountable wall standing between us. I just wanted to get all this out of the way and finally be on the same wavelength with Hyunjin.

When I came to a stop in front of the dance room, I could hear soft music from outside and saw through the door glass how Hyunjin moved to the sound of the music.

Like a silk scarf in the wind his body moved and snapped his fingers to the beat. Every single movement was performed with so much passion and watching him dance like that, it was like having a book in front of you.

Each of his moves told a kind of story, while he transformed the book into a masterpiece with his facial expressions. He brought so much feeling and emotion into his dance that it almost captivated you.

Cautiously, I opened the door and slowly stepped inside. Hyunjin didn't seem to notice me, as he was too focused on the music and his movements.

This was the first time I had seen him dance.

As the music slowly became softer and softer, Hyunjin's movements also became softer and then disappeared.

You could hear his heavy breathing as he brushed his sweaty hair out of his face. At the exact moment he turned around, he noticed me and looked at me with wide eyes.

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to talk to you." I entered the room more and put my backpack down against the wall. Hyunjin walked over to a bench and grabbed a towel there, wiping the sweat from his face.

"About what?" he inquired, sitting down on the bench to take a sip of his water.
"Why are you acting so weird again all of a sudden?" I asked him my question and he just looked at me blankly.
"Now don't look at me like you don't know what I mean." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and took a few steps forward.

"Shouldn't you be with Misa instead of wasting your time with me?" Hyunjin suddenly huffed out and I looked at him in wonder.
"What does Misa have to do with this?"

"Don't bullshit me, I saw you guys at the cafe the other day and you said you weren't together anymore." Hyunjin hissed and I just lost all understanding.

What the hell is he saying?

"We're not together." Confused at Hyunjin's statement, I raised an eyebrow and I saw that Hyunjins was starting to get angry.

Always before he lost control his veins came out on his temple and that doesn't mean anything good.
"Don't fuck with me!" he stood up abruptly, tipping over his water bottle on the floor.

"I can see exactly how you two are stuck on each other and you even hid from us that you were dating her!" added Hyunjin, angrily throwing his hands in the air.

"You're clearly misunderstanding something." I tried to calm the upset blonde-haired boy down and crossed my arms.
"Misa and I are not together and never will be. She merely asked me for tutoring and nothing more. The reason I didn't want to tell you was because I knew for a fact that you would think we were back together." I took a few steps toward Hyunjin, who looked at me with wide eyes.

There was a long silence and he just stood there still without moving.

"Well, that's settled then." I turned away from him since there was no more reaction from him and grabbed my backpack that I had placed against the wall.
"Besides." I turned back to Hyunjin who was still standing in place.
"I don't see why you should care if I'm with Misa or not." I added, then turned away from him again.

I put my hand around the door handle and was about to open the door when suddenly an arm pulled me away from the door and pushed me against the wall.

Hyunjin's face was only a few millimeters from mine so the tips of our noses touched.
His hot breath bounced directly against my skin and I felt my whole body tense.

His brown eyes fixed mine and I had to swallow. He was looking directly into my soul and I could see myself reflected in his eyes.

Slowly, I looked down at the floor and braced my hands against his chest to push him away from me.
"Let me go." I murmured almost so softly that he could barely hear it.

But instead of following my request, he took my chin in his hand and pushed my face back up that I had no choice but to look at him.
"You're driving me crazy."

Those were the last words before Hyunjin gently pressed his lips against mine and a firework of emotions exploded inside me.

Was this a dream?
