What the hell has gotten into him?

First he ignores me and then he accuses me of being the one who is acting weird.

This stupid ferret is driving me up the wall at some point.

"There you are." Misa came up to me and took the small box I was holding.

I had known Misa since the beginning of college and we were, believe it or not, a couple back then.

Yes the nerd had a girlfriend once.

But the relationship hadn't lasted that long back then because we were both just too different and have different views. Nevertheless, we understood each other until today pretty well and went apart in the good.

Misa was in the athletics club before but had to stop due to a chronic illness. That's why she joined the film club.

The rest of the day there was no sign of Hyunjin. His scenes were over but at least he could have made himself useful.

He probably just took off.

Annoyed, I dropped into the director's chair and Jeongin joined me.
"You've been so tense all this time. Did something happen?" the black-haired one eyed me with concern and I shook my head.
"Your brother is just really getting on my nerves right now." I explained my bad mood and he suddenly started laughing. Confused, I looked at him.
"Sometimes you could really think you are meant to hate each other."

"What do you mean?" my expression became even more confused and Jeongin continued.
"Well, on one hand you may hate each other but I believe that you can't do without the other either. You are two different personalities, yet you complement each other completely." he turned his gaze to me and gave me a quick smile.
"Anyway, maybe I'm looking at this all pretty wrong but that's my opinion." Jeongin pushed himself out of the chair and then went back to the others.

His words circled in my head like a merry-go-round.

Yeah, Hyunjin and I hated each other and had our reasons for it but if Jeongin's words were to be believed, he wasn't wrong at all. Hyunjin and I were completely different personalities. He was direct and had great confidence in himself, while I was more withdrawn and tended to keep my opinions to myself. But if you combined the two of us, we would really make a good team.

Before I could get any more lost in my thoughts, I pushed myself out of my chair and helped the others.

As expected, Hyunjin was long gone as his bag was no longer in the room either.

After everything was dismantled, I left the school building alone and headed straight to Cafe Latte, since I still wanted to study. At that time I was there almost every day to study because it was the only place where I really felt comfortable. At home, my parents always checked on me to see if I was really studying for school. But here I had my peace - even if Hyunjin appeared here from time to time.

So I sat down in my regular seat where I had sat when I had tutored Hyunjin.

As usual, I ordered myself an Iced Americano and started digging my school supplies out of my backpack.

But my study session was quickly interrupted when I saw a blond haired boy enter the cafe.

Hyunjin entered the cafe and ordered something to drink. I pretended that I hadn't seen him and devoted myself to my tasks.

But as soon as a large shadow reared up in front of me, I raised my eyes. The ferret sat down with his Iced Americano directly in front of me and eyed me.

Confused, I raised an eyebrow as he took a sip of his drink.
"What?" irritated, I looked at him and he set his cup down on the table.
"I wanted to apologize." Hyunjin folded his arms on the table, still looking me in the eye.

A bit caught off guard, I blinked a few times, as I really wasn't expecting this now.

"The prince apologizes for his errant behavior for once?" with a sarcastic laugh, I took a sip of my drink and Hyunjin's eyebrows narrowed.
"Don't make me regret it." He hissed and leaned back in the chair with his arms crossed.
"I won't forgive you, though." I crossed my arms now too and averted my gaze.
"You still owe me an explanation."

There was a short silence until Hyunjin began to sigh heavily.
"The explanation is quite simple..."
I lifted my gaze again and looked at Hyunjin, who was stroking through his blond hair.
"...I hate you." he finished his sentence and I couldn't help but laugh a little.

Without understanding, I shook my head and turned my gaze back to Hyunjin, who was looking at me with an unchanged expression.
"So everything is back to normal?" I raised an eyebrow and Hyunjin just nodded.
"Fine with me." I shrugged and the blond haired one nodded.
"I have to go now then. See you around." Hyunjin was about to get up, I stopped him.
"Tomorrow 4pm here at the cafe and this time no delays." I informed the ferret of his further tutoring session and he laughed lightly until he nodded in agreement and disappeared from the cafe.

"I just can't figure him out..."
