The drive back to Seoul was relaxing and quite fun. My apparently new official boyfriend here spent all ride driving AND singning along with me all the songs we played.

I think I haven't told Hyunjin just how much I admire him, in every way possible. Despite everything he's been through, because let's be honest, he's been through worse shit than me, he always manages to have a huge smile and worries about others before himself. Maybe that is why I am insanely in love with his smile, somehow it makes me feel like no matter what, I should always stay positive.

"You've been checking me out for a while now" He suddenly interrupts my thoughts with a smirk.

"What's the matter with checking out my sudden new boyfriend?" I snapped back.

"Nothing" he chuckled with his ego filled, "but first, technically I'm not your new boyfriend, we've been together for a while now."

"Aha" I nodded, waiting for him to keep talking.

"And second..." he pursed his lips. An evident laugh was threatening to come out from him, but his coolness had to stay still. I just eyed him with my brows up, also containing my laugh.

"...second?" I tried re opening the sentence.

"You're checking me out like you want to rip off my clothes"

"That's cause I do" I boldy joked (or not). Hyunjin widened his eyes with an embarrassed smile, I figured he wasn't expecting my response.

"Don't make me pull over, there's a lot of empty space-"

"My god Hyunjin, I'm joking!" I burst my laugh out. He of course got offended, as the dramatic ass king he is.

"So you don't want to see me without clothes?"

"I already saw you naked."

"Watcha think?~"

"End of the conversation."

"Oh come on" he laughed, clearly wanting to keep the topic. "You're hot and I told you that."

"Thank you" I giggled. "Well, you're hot too. But can we stop behaving like two hormonal horny needy teens and just chill to the music like adults?"

"Desire is part of the human nature Aeri, there's nothing you can change about that"

"Okay Shakespeare, I get it." I patted his shoulder and proceeded to raise the volume a bit up.

We arrived at my parent's house. We had decided Hyunjin would be staying with me, since his house is being investigated. We unpacked the few things we brought for a weekend, before sitting on the couch for a bit. My parents weren't home yet from work.

I cuddled to his side, resting my head on his shoulder, hands intertwined.

"We should have dinner and then go to sleep. It's been a tiring day." I suggested.

"We can have dinner with your parents and you go up to rest, I have to head to the police."

"Why don't you go tomorrow? You also need to rest" I raised my head from his shoulder, meeting his eyes. He pulled my hair to the back of my ear.

"I want to do as much as possible today, so we can go tomorrow to Sang Hoon's."

"I told you, we don't have to rush. We can go next weekend. I just want you to deal with this as calmly as possible, I don't want to see you stressed."

"I know, I know, and I'm grateful for that" he kissed my hand, "but I have this feeling that we should go and see him soon."

"How come?"
