BTS' Mason To Take Break Due To Exhaustion Written by Hyunji Yoon March 1st, 2021
On March 1st, BigHit Entertainment released this statement about their artist.

"Hello. This is BigHit Entertainment.
This is a statement about our artist, Mason's, health.
After the conclusion of the shooting of the drama our artist was in, he expressed symptoms of exhaustion and symptoms of his already diagnosed mental disorders getting worse. He was taken to a mental health specialist and was advised to take a break from his busy lifestyle.
Starting today, we will be canceling all schedules for Mason in the near future. We have discussed this topic with both Mason and the other BTS members and they have agreed to promote with only seven members at this time. The members know how important his mental health is and will be supporting him from the stage. But, our artist would like to express that he will still be present for the 93rd Grammys and a special photo shoot coming in April. He will be present for those schedules, but will not be present in anything else until our artist is ready.
We will continue to monitor how our artist feels and will be making the decision to when he will be back on stage with his members in the future.
We sincerely apologize for the concern we have put on BTS fans and will be working on monitoring the health conditions of Mason and the other members of BTS.
Thank you for understanding."
This announcement comes after a livestream over Vlive that drew concerns over Mason's mental health earlier in the week.
We hope to see Mason take the stage as a member of BTS soon.
