The name of Mason's solo song is called Ephemeral. The word is an adjective that means something lasts for a very short time.
The lyrics describe a love that lasted for a short amount of time and his longing for them after they left. He wrote it based off of a forbidden love between two people, drawing inspiration from the story of Romeo And Juliet.
The song is a very sensual and unique song, drawing in elements of an EDM breakdown in the chorus and the slow, synth-like vibe in the rest of the song. The concert version is better in Mason's opinion because of the A capella bridge. The backing music goes away and all you hear is his voice just fill the stadium completely. The beat picks up right where it left off when he finishes his high note, the dancers behind him pick him up, lift him and continue with the dance.
Since Mason was a contemporary/ballet dancer, the dance features moves that you would find in those types of dance.
When they perform on smaller stages, he just stands there with a mic stand to capture the viewer's eyes without all of the intense dancing, like Taehyung's Stigma stage.
